That choke counter made me give the video a like lmao. I had one of those exact moments last night. Fortunately for me, the barb was one shot so I killed him with melee after missing 6 shots, multishot, and shotgun. It be like that sometimes
Great idea. I’ll put that on the list of videos to make. With shotgun, you want to give yourself the ability to kill your target with as little arrows as possible. This is because enemies will see the shotgun coming and duck, dodge and back away to avoid it. The way to do this is to ensure that you have damaged them before shotgunning. There is no reason to shotgun a target that you could otherwise shoot from a distance. So, if a plate fighter is running at you and you miss your shots, you should NOT shotgun. You should create distance by kiting or running. Also, shooting a shotgun from an elevated position downwards towards the ground decreases the arrow spread. So you want to jump and look down. Look at my recent Duo Ranger video at 6:15.
What is your secondary weapon and why are you using rations? I would say generally shotgun is better than double shot. But if you’re running spear, you may not need shotgun.
Hey man just wanted to say that I see a lot of people giving constructive criticism, others giving not so constructive criticism, but these videos have been a ton of help ! I mostly play ranger cause i’ve always had a sweet spot for the bow and arrow, but I love this game, and any kind of content aimed at expanding player’s knowledge and skill is well appreciated ! there’s always more things to learn and refine with making the actual videos, but the consistent quality you put out is great to see :)
@@thedarkharvester Just 5 minutes ago i cleared most of my solo lobby with a few well placed shots into a shotgun- jumping back and aiming down has been a GAME CHANGER, we definitely excelling
Good games bro. I am honestly pretty sick out of all of these videos where people do 5 mistakes per fight and are literally freekills for the ones making the videos. I am a demigod and I meet exactly the same people, the difference is just the color of a rank but they too do a ton of mistakes per fight, because they are not experienced enough yet and it applies to all ranks, and of course there are always exceptions and very good players as well, but in general most people are still learning hard. I do not want to be cocky in any way, but rank means absolutely nothing as of now in solos really. But if you smurf, there is a huge difference obviously and everybody knows that, so those montage videos prove nothing and people who generally do not understand anything and cannot even see the most obvious mistakes think it is all just a pure skill, when in fact people just do nonsense and try to sometimes end the fight asap ignoring all their options and footwork especially. Skinnypetes recent video proves it more than anything, obviously that guy has a very nice knowledge of footwork, spacing and movement speed, but the people he fights absolutely do not. It is like if you were to put a global vs gold in csgo and praise the global for literally winning every single time because he has much better aim, crosshair placement and movement, it does not make any sense at all LOL.
I know exactly what you mean. I plan on taking some good footage and making an analysis of the PvP fights similar to CNG Blade. When watching streamers, the best fights are the ones against other big streamers because they typically have the strongest teams. I love seeing the best fight the best. Not the best fight the worst lol

You're so right! When I get comments on my good aim, it makes me want to show that I have plays just like everyone else too.
Can you give some tips for shotgun skill, i mostly die to trying line up for the shot and eventually not killing = me dying

Hard to decide which feels worse, missing every shot while barb charges or 5 shot bugging and not hitting up close, both happen to me often 🫡
Oh definitely the missing shots! Because it was 100% my fault. I choked SO hard. I cringe looking at it but wanted everyone to see the truth 😂😂
