The Beatles forever. I'm 36 and love seeing other people my age or in the 20s and even teens singing along with the same passion as someone in their 60s, 70s. This music will last forever.
i’m almost 21 and my parents raised me with the beatles and more other old music. i really honestly don’t like today’s music and it’s hard to find people like me. luckily im always trying to be around people who enjoy this music because for me it’s the best🥹❤️

I’m impressed with the quality of the playing and singing, and the excellent lead guitarist 🎸who continues to nail all of George Harrison’s incredible guitar parts. My “Beatles’ Ears” know each minute note played in every song, and he or she is spot on.👍 Can I come and play too? (I’ll be the one singing out of tune, but I’ll have the biggest smile on my face!)

I have watched a few of these videos celebrating John’s 82nd birthday, I had to chuckle to myself a little after realizing that most of the songs being sung are actually Paul’s handiwork!

I think John had a role too, no? Anyway, on John days we tend to favor John songs - especially solo stuff - but for Beatles songs we don’t sweat it so much. That band wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for John, and his spirit and genius is in every song they did, whether or not he wrote the majority of any specific song.

It's just an odd thing to obsess about, especially regarding a song which John DID contribute to. (If Paul had been the sole writer, the second line of the song would have been 'never been a beauty queen'!) The topic of Lennon vs. McCartney shouldn't be considered by anyone as a science, with settled answers; both George and John said they made contributions to "Eleanor Rigby", for example, and at this point we'll never know for sure... and that's OK. The gatherings at Central Park are more easy-going and focused on unity and joy than armchair Beatles "experts" may be comfortable with, apparently.
