Hey guys, we have the AC set for cooler at night so we sleep better about 70. Warmer during the day. About 75 With it cooler at night, the air conditioner usually doesn't come on until around 11 or 12 in the morning because the house is already cool.

I have my AC and heat system serviced twice a year! Works a lot better after they come ! You might want to give it a try ! It’s like magic!
Sopa de fideo. Fee-DEH-oh. Good stuff. You can also make sopa de fideo (or also called sopita) with any kind of small pasta. And put shredded cheese on it. It's SOOO good and so easy from scratch. This is comfort food for my family; I grew up with it.
On the coast in Carrabelle, we had an Airbnb right on the beach last year. Our last day there, a pack of stingrays just swam right along the edge of the water and let us watch them. When I say a pack, I mean...about 45 of them! It was so wonderful ❤️

@amymaryon my husband is an air guy and he said 72 is what he always recommends and not to adjust it bc that will run your power bill up he said if you don’t want to do 72 which is the usual temp heat n air specialist suggest but pick a temp and leave it there hope that helps ❤
Yes that is what i had heard...if we leave it ..it is better..we are just making it warmer a degree as the temperature drops outdoors

I think she has 6 out of 10 w her in Florida. The rest are up and out. They used to be on her videos but life has taken them here and there now.
Last I knew 2 lived in Michigan and 2 in NC.

That purple round one is a bowl holder . You use it to hold a hot bowl while you eat . Works well with bowls from the microwave . Hope that helps .

The shell your son found is Cockle Shell. And it is special finding both halves still together. The one that your husband found that was so thick, was just a broken clam shell.
If your going to do an ocean themed Christmas tree, you can collect shells now and make some amazing ornaments for your tree.
Skim boarding is better with thin wooden boards; the ones you have are great for tummy surfing the waves. Shelling after storms is treasure hunting fun. You never know what you’ll find!
Good morning. Don't know if you know but you can also freeze your extra chopped onion. Years ago I was gifted a 50 lb bag. Shared some with friends & neighbors. But being a family of 3 we just had a ton. So chopped them up. Put some into ziplock bags. Worked great.
I have done that before..double bagged ..they smelled a little bit throughout the freezer maybe having them cold before won't make them smell so much ?!
We live on the water in SC and our A/C and Heat is always set to 73 degrees. Amy, your blood is thinning out. We originally lived in NH and MA so when we moved to SC we thought it was hot. Now we freeze at 80 degrees.
That flexseal tape is a really good option for patching too!
I make homemade dumplings in my Mrs Grass Chicken Noodle soup. Yum!!! Just little dumplings. Try it.
I'm beyond happy that you enjoyed the flamingo stuff! Can't wait to see the party! Oh, the small flamingos and palm trees are floaties that hold your drink in the pool so it floats next to you. Since you have the slushy machine, I thought they might come in handy as drink holders with the straws. :)

We use a Keurig also, and we found a coffee thats amazing! Brand is Kauai Coffee. Our faves are vanilla macadamia nut, island sunrise, & mocha macadamia nut. Some grocery stores sell them.

They’re fine. I’m a little north of her and this south part of the coast just got lots of rain and a little flooding in the streets near the coast.

Amy the top of the peppers have the best flavors. Just cut the stem out and use the top also. So yummy. My kids and I love them. They are awesome in stuffed peppers or chili.

Hey Amy! Today was a lovely video! You confirmed to me that what I did today was good and what was ment to happen. My elderly mum came and took me shopping (I’m having health issues worse than normal atm) we spent a few hours out gathering enough stuff to keep my husband and I going for a while and when I got home I was shattered! I was so tired I fell asleep and didn’t want to wake to make dinner. We ordered in! I feel guilty about not cooking especially when I’ve just gone out and bought fresh food but I didn’t have the strength to do so. Thank you for the reminder I did good for myself! …. Still loving the videos, your more relaxed and happy in Florida and seeing the sun and beaches is making me yearn for a sun filled holiday near a beach. Sadly it’s not possible right now my dad is suffering with cancer and going through treatment which isn’t working so holidays are not at the tops of our list right now! …keep up the good work Amy! .. sending love from beautiful Scotland!🤗

When the weather gets cold, you guys need to go visit the Teco preserve in Apollo Beach. They have a plant there that generates warm water and the manatees gather in the hundreds. They are very friendly and playful that’s why the last few years they don’t want them to have all the human contact. The sea cows are amazing
My parents made the investment in the dolphin pool cleaner which is a wall climber as well! Its super cool! And really cleans the pool!

When your kids get good on the boogie boards or surfboards, have them use the ankle strap so it doesn't float away if they go out in the waves or otherwise u will have to go way down the ocean shore to retrieve it.😊
Always share with your wife how to do things ❤ I work in a petrol station and so many older ladies dont know how to put fuel in thier car or how to put air in thier tires after thier husband has passed 😢

Hey guys always be awear of sharks. Their alway in the water, sometimes close to shore. I just saw a drone filming a school of sharks yesterday between 6 to 20 feet off shore right next to swimmers. The smaller shark's are more aggressive and will come in as close as inches from shore. Always be on the lookout

I love that your family has a deep appreciation of what God created. We live in North Carolina so when we go on vacation it's usually down to Myrtle Beach. Every time I get to the point of being able to see the ocean and the vastness of it, it brings such peace. The peace of God just hovers and fills my heart every time I see the ocean.

It’s the opposite with my husband and me. I save parts, screws, bolts and stuff (in case) and my husband throws almost everything away. He will need something and brings it to me and I go and get one of my (saved in case) something for him! He’s always happy when I come up with the item he needs but still laughs when I save it! That’s why we balance each other! 😊🥰💕🙏👍🏻👍🏻😎

I think you might be thinking of E Cloth. I used it for a while. I went back to cleaners and paper towels. For me personally, it's not clean unless it's lysoled and bleached. I'm a touch of a germaphobe. I use those throw-away toilet cleaners with clorox toilet cleaner. My hands never come near the inside of my toilet. I also use rubber gloves that go clear to my elbows. That's just me, though. I wish I weren't that way, but I am. Thank you for sharing your way, though. It's interesting how different people do things so differently.

I wish they had that type of vacuum and self scrubbing tools for our pool growing up. I remember spending hours cleaning and hand scrubbing the pool! I need to let my mom know about the one you guys got. She pays for a pool guy who comes twice a week and still can’t keep up.

Boogie boards are for riding the waves. They sell skim boards which are wooden to skim board. My boys love skim boarding. I started them with some from Walmart but they got good at it so I had to get them really good ones at Ron Jons surf shop. The are expensive, costs hundreds of dollars.

Our pool vac stays in the pool and runs on a timer(early morning). It cleans bottom and walls. We just unhook it when swimming and put back at end of day. I never have to hand vac the pool.

Good morning Amy! I’ve never cooked with those noodles. I’m wondering if they could be added to the broth raw or even partially cooked in a crock pot and maybe the starch would help thicken it?? Have you ever tried that? I’m always looking for new casserole and crockpot recipes for pot luck at church!
They take about 15 to 18 minutes to cook so maybe too starchy ?!?! They absorbed much liquid for the soup and it made the casserole
I always wash toilets by hand, just wash your hands after I have been doing it for years x
I’ve aLways used a bristle brush but I obviously hand wash the top part, seat and outside… I just can’t get it as pretty without the bristles. I bleach first but agree with Amy’s comments on stuff getting stuck on the brushes, hence my bleach first leave for a bit and then brush… we all find our way don’t we!
