- NEW Fiery Boss Bloon - BLASTAPOPOULOS Is Back! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - update 45.0 is making a flaming entrance with the re-introduction of Blastapopouolos, a boss that's immune to magic attacks, stuns towers, increases ability cooldowns and much more! Also featuring other aspects of the update like the new map, fast track and quests.

I mean, it's literally just a quality of life improvement for farming badges on all the maps, it's not an actual advantage like double cash, so there's just NO WAY they'd charge real money for it, right ISAB? Right?

5:22 Counting Blastapopoulos, of the past 4 bosses, 3 of them feel like they've been specifically tailored to make the M.A.D. even more overcentralizing for the first few tiers.
Vortex- Stun effect makes global range towers much stronger against it
Phayze- Nerfs towers that don't have innate camo, jumps around the track benefiting global range towers, nerfs attack speed thereby making abilities stronger comparatively
And now Blastapopoulos comes in with an ability that makes fast firing towers weaker against it, and of course M.A.D. is probably the slowest attacking high damage tower in the game.
Maybe we can also conclude that M.A.D is a great tower :)
Well at least it's good to see that they decided the one tower who should be the boss killer instead of randomly nerfing strategies and making boss runs a nightmare(like some games tend to do a lot)

15:23 everything got stunned because the skulls fill up the heat bar a decent chunk, which caused the heat bar to fill which stuns all your monkeys

Its a luxury feature why would they make it purchasable with monkey money. That would only affect them negatively
Anyone else notice the meteor was targeting the alphabetically first named tower? First Benjamin, then absolute zero when he got it. I assume this is a temporary fix before they give it some AI, but it’s cool to see!

I hope they add the ability to buy the Fast Track with monkey money like it was in BTD5 & just like how the map builder can be bought with irl cash or monkey money.
Yeah, rn it's a huge disappointment because of being limited to real money. A real shame
That would be so awesome ! NK seems to be adding more real money items and many people cant afford them , hope they change so we can use MM or trophies to unlock them.
No point for them to do that. Its a luxury feature so it makes sense to put it behind real money paywall
@@coolmetin02 "luxury" it's literally a quality of life feature that was previously free in BTD5. This is inexcusable. I get that they wanna make money, but at LEAST give the OPTION to get it with in game grinding ffs.
I don't mind things like double cash and extra monkey money being behind paywalls, because the former is P2W in a game where CHIMPS mode exists to literally disable anything P2W and the latter because it's really easy to get as much MM as you need as an F2P as long as you don't spend it on a gazillion retries every ranked boss event.
It would however genuinely piss me off if fast track would be behind paywall, because unlike double cash, I actually care about having it and unlike extra MM I can't also get it by just playing the game.

I find it funny how they went with the basic original designs. Of the 4 original bosses. He was the most basic of all. I thought they would have redesigned the visimuals'
Probably just because this is the normal version. All the bosses have enhanced visuals for the elite variant
What could be a thing, is that absolute Zero and Snow storm like reduce 25% of Blast’s heat, when you activate their abilities

I feel like MAD laser shock heats it up faster, also sticky bomb is considered DOT so it won't explode, tewtiy also tried it and he noticed that
Blasto is definitely going to be a challenge for everyone, at least he isint as painful as his original debut
Honestly I am fine with fast track being a paid upgrade. I bought the game on sale for close to nothing and have since played for hundreds of hours, so giving the devs some money is fine with me.
Yeah to me BTD6 is very fair when it comes to microtransactions. It's very easy to farm up lots of Monkey Money so there's rarely a reason to buy it. It's fine to have QoL purchases for those that want to save time, while not affecting ranked modes
Fast track needs to not be a paid thing. Otherwise no way to get it for Apple arcade and Netflix

I would say that one of the use for the new map is Perma-spike. Maybe you don’t intend for some leaks to go to your Perma-spikes pile and the tower on the front could take care of it with some extra tracks and then switch those on the intended round for the Perma-spike.
Maybe we could get around the heat issue by spamming a bunch of Dart monkeys to hopefully take up some of the magma
Depends on what the fireballs target. It could be most expensive towers, it could be random, or it could be something else.
Was it just me, or was sticky bomb not detonating on tier 1?

oh hey, it's using the alt boss theme! i was hoping Blasta would use it even though it had only been used for debut bosses thus far
I have no problems with fast track being paid tbh. NK getting more money is good esp for a game being out so long and costing only £4.99 (I’m sure some regions are diff) but yeah. Double cash and fast track are addiontals that don’t make a massive difference anywhere. Saves a few mins per map but 🤷🏼♂️ doesn’t matter
Fast track saves atleast 20 hours of total playtime when black bordering every map tfym
@@SomeCowguy^this, people saying it's a few minutes is ridiculous. It literally (from the description at least) skips the first 20 Rounds of all hard modes (including half cash!) Which at least in my mind comes out to a little more than 20 hours of time save.

That’s crazy for that boss bloon and can you imagine that going up against 6 elite bosses at once that will be even more complicated to beat this challenge

Somehow, not as warm as when ISAB sees sauda.
I do think it kinda sucks that they add new qol which counters one of my biggest annoyances with the game, waiting for rounds to end, but it costs money so most people won't be able to use it
MY FAVORITE BMC BOSS IS FINALLY BACK!!
In my Blastpopoulos mod, his final form has an ultimate that stuns everything but can be stalled via slows such as ice. I wonder if NK was inspired in someway
The skull spawns meteors that stun a few towers and fills up the heat bar a bit. When the heat bar is full it stuns all towers

10:18 When it comes to bosses, I imagine there's utility in targeting the portal either to the opposite side the boss is on to prevent regular bloons from overlapping it and eating the pierce of your projectiles or to the same side as the boss so you can deal with the natural bloons and the boss at the same time depending on what defense you're using and how much pierce your towers have. Not sure how much utility there actually is in that considering how much of the track for the regular bloons is just the spiral at the top, though.
For a few minutes I was thinking if fanclub could be finaly a good idea for a tier 1 boss, I forgot the cooldown's increase part of the boss.
Feel like Flagship would be good. Planes have line of sight and you van place Cripple MOAB up high, maybe it can see over those rocks then
My only thought for the portal would be splitting up large bloon rounds to separate towers so you don't overload their pierce. It's a stretch but I guess it'll make for some interesting challenge videos

Finally, we have them all.
I don’t know what the best strategies would be, but I can tell you one of the worst, which would be using Geraldo, Gerry’s fire and genie is only gonna make it heat up faster, which means you’ll only really be getting use of the buff items he provides, which doesn’t mean too much for higher tiers
It's nose in-game looks weird compared to the render, it doesn't look like magma, more like a slice of an orange
Can't wait to see Bonnie come to BTD6 one day.

bottom path super with MK could be a good strat as it completely counters the rock heat debuff
I’m ok with ninja kiwi charging for some additional features since this game is their primary game, they’ve released TONS of content for free, including all cosmetics for heroes, Bloons and more, and they have a lot of good will in the community. I don’t mind paying for a fun quality of life feature
The reason all of your towers on screen were getting stunned at points I believe was because of the heat bar being full
The very serious question about fast track is - what about heroes?
Because it sounds to me like it prevents you from getting level 20

I’m really curious how Icicle impale would do against it. It is the fastest attacking ice upgrade after all. Probably wouldn’t do enough damage to take it down on its own, but it might be able to fight the temperature pretty well.

It seems like the meteor stun that it shoots goes to the farthest tower away from it on the map

I think x-4-x or x-5-x mermonkey can be viable against the boss, he does a LOT of ice projectiles so it will cool off the bar and if it has walls like in the new map it really shines. It is ability based which isn't very good for this boss but it can still help with the base attack since that should still cool off the bar
I'm kind of curious how this boss would work on infernal since there aren't many places for the rocks to go unless they go on the track

Does middle path mermonkey reduce heat as well? If so, I imagine Popseidon could be worth buying for the boss, especially if elite heats up faster than the normal boss.

Add a level editor to a game and it will singlehandedly increase its life span by like 15 years.
For the fast track, i like much more the approach of paid DLCs instead of in app purchases for monetization, a shame.
I really hope that the upcoming paid DLC have a fair price and becomes a sucess, so ninja kiwi do less in app purchases.
