Winnipeg does have Expressways and Expressway-like roads, they just do say it in the street name, like Bishop Grandin Blvd, Fermor Ave, Cheif Peguis Trail, and a part of Kenaston Blvd.
Atlantic Ave in Virginia Beach [24th street south to the southern end] has the same kind of lane. The right lanes are for Trolleys, Buses and right turns only. Helps the trolleys get people moving through the city.. except when police pull people over in that lane, then they have to fight the bumper-to-bumper traffic in the left lane.. which then makes the concept pointless.
@Sazee1000 I enjoy making them and people enjoy watching them so I continue to do it, it's a creative outlet. I just don't see myself using a Miley Cyrus song, not a good fit IMO.
The truth of the matter is that the Feds will pay extra money for interstate widening projects if they include HOV lanes, so TDOT took advantage of that. Also, the lanes are only part time (inbound from 7-9, outbound from 4-6, M-F). In my experience, I don't think I've ever seen part time HOV lanes marked with double solid or double dash lines, as all of Atlanta's are full time.
Loved this song and to me both rascal flats and Taylor Swift do belong to big machine records. Most Lehigh valley travellers will use Taylor swift through this strech of I-24 in Nashville, TN and country pop is a common roadgeek practice in northeastern Pennsylvania
Yes Exit 59 & 60 is the famous flood area, I live in that area, my house wasn't effected. Also they do not enforce the HOV system in Metro Nashville so we "cheat" all the time LOL. When I am in the 3rd lane stuck going 50mph and cars are flying past me while driving solo I am gonna cheat too.

Forgot about this song....nice!
Thank you!
I love these videos. I wish PennDOT could learn a few things from these videos and actually learn how to build an interstate.
Thanks and I agree with your sentiments regarding the HOV lanes in TN.
The inner loop is a bit of a mess. They're currently expanding I-65 from Trinity Lane up to Dickerson road. The city really needs that.
And a song from the movie "Cars"
You are right about PennDOT, geesh those are some bad roads.

It's around Exit 60 where the infamous flood scenes that the school was floating onto the freeway took place, correct?
I was driving an Acura TL for this one, for many others that I film on long trips/vacations I use my wife's Acura MDX.
@itsalleternal I don't know, I'm not from the area.
Have you been through I-24 through Paducah, KY?
It's quite fun to drive :)

No Violations for two reasons:
1) My son was with me so we were legal
2) HOV only enforced on Monday through Friday, this was Saturday.

Never thought of that, hmmm.
Or Kentucky's parkway system?

You know, I had to use something "Country-ish" for Nashville.
@Freewayjim what's wrong with their roads?
life
I wished we had HOV lanes in Winnipeg. Instead of HOW lanes there called "diamond lanes", and only transit buses and bicycles could go on it.
Crazy drivers in TN.
You should get bumper stickers made, I would put one on my car!
@blue06lt We need all these lanes here cause the people can't drive.
A couple of HOV violations in the video near the beginning :)
