I live just up from Camden Passage. Such a treasure trove for jewellery when the market is on. If you go to Marie Curie on Highbury Corner next time, I might get the opportunity to say "Hi". I work there and occasionally we get good jewellery donation's!
I live in Camden Passage. Know a few of the traders. Alas, it was much bigger, back in the day. The area directly outside 'Reiss' was a covered market, chocka with lovelies.
Thanks for taking me to all the streets I’ve read about so many times, starting with historical romances right up to modern authors. Gawd I’d love to go to Liberty just to spend a day looking at every single thing. 😂🤣🙋🏼♀️
Hi Lexx, I haven’t been to Carnaby Street for a few years and was pleased to hear that the Great Frog is still there! An ex boyfriend, who’s still a good friend, bought me a little silver and garnet ring in there in 1993 and I still have it! I really must visit there again next time I’m up smoke and definitely buy something. Thankyou for a lovely video. Take care and wishing you all the best for 2025 and beyond 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
London charity shops are priced up by 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡. I live in central London and all my nearby charity shops are absurdly overpriced, they value tacky broken gewgaws like they were faberge eggs 😂. You do find the occasional banger, but the amount of time spent searching is not worth the financial return. However, people do pay these prices, you get loads of posh people drifting in at weekends and happily paying over the odds for random tat. And I guess that is what charity shops are about at the end of day!

OMG Lexx, I work near Tottenham Court Road and used to go in that Oxfam all the time… the prices are eye watering!!
Great to see Belle. She looks as lovely as she actually is! X

I'm sure if you took some of that jewellery out of Liberty and into a joblot bag, it would be sorted straight into the 'kid's lot' bag!
😂I thought that too! There's actually money in vintage plastic beads. I just got myself a reference book to learn more.
