- These bees were so sweet and docile and were possibly missing their queen. I was able to safely relocate them from this residential backyard into a new hive,

Glad that you're posting new content, good to see Texas Beeworks back in action. And with new camerawork & editing. The ASMR crowd will have to live with the older vids... ;)

Saving the beeeeesssssssss!
Except that honey bees are an invasive species that actually damage more native crops than they help due to poor pollination
Beeeeeeeeezzzzzzzz
Loving these longer videos! It feels like I'm watching a Mr. Rodgers segment and so nice to listen while relaxing.
And it was another great day of saving the bees
Never leave home without your pocket-queen!
That’s really cool how they adopt a new queen. Great episode!❤️
I'm glad you liked it - thank you for watching!
Thanks so much Erika for the new videos! My daughter and I love to cuddle up and watch bee videos and you are our not only our favorite but you also started our tradition as yours was the first bee video we ever watched! Thanks for being a great role model for my girls and showing the world what a positive impact you can have by caring for the critters around us!!
Awwwww poor babies. I live in NZ and I've handled bees when I was a kid with my dad, and he was such an affectionate person he used to call them babies and it's carried on with me. I haven't worked with them in decades but anytime I bump into them, I love to watch them.
What a lovely story! Thank you for sharing and for watching all the way from New Zealand!
@@TexasBeeworks You're very welcome😄
Watching them migrate into their new home is the coolest thing 😊
I'm really enjoying this newer more informative format. It's much more personable, where instead of feeling like I'm watching something nice on a screen, I feel almost like I'm there, and you're teaching us about how to bee-keeper.
There is something therapeutic about watching bees.
From a safe distance! Like behind a screen.
Another great day of saving the bees and my sanity!
Though chooks are even better for calming and losing an hour.
I like the new documentary style
Thank you for watching and for your feedback! I'm working with some very talented people and I feel so lucky that they want to share their time and talents with me and the bees.
I love both.
I would have found something like a big bucket, turn it upside down, then put the bee leg on the top of the open hive and the other leg on the top of the bucket and maybe put a teaspoon of honey on the bottom inside of the hive, to give them a reason to go straight into the hive.
I just cannot believe the bees don't sting, when you pick up handfuls.
I always save bees that I see drowning. Always tell people to put out a saucer with water and a handful of grass, so bees and insects can drink and not drown - and a deeper dish for birds - and I always advise gentle sloped bowl of water, well away from house and animals, so snakes and lizards don't have to come close to animals and people for water.
You are so extraordinarily calming doing what you love and understand.
The bees are fascinating. If you could add calm chooks pecking through organic gardens, to your videos, you could sell this to people terrified of flying! Lol.
What you are doing is SO CRUCIAL and admirable! You are helping ALL our gardens grow in a round-about way. It's great to see someone who loves, truly LOVES, their work!♥️
Thank you Erika and Eddy for saving the bees
Full credit given to the homeowner, Eddy, for doing the right thing for the bees!
How many colonies do you have? Wpuld love to see some clips of your apiary
The bees are saying to all other bees " The Texas Beeworks lady is here and she's going to take care of us!!"
Thank you for everything you do. It's always educational and calming watching you save the bees.
Omg you are just adorable, I love beeeeeeez, your apiary must be full to bursting with all these beeeeez you rescue ❤
You have such a kind and gentle voice 😊
Thanks for showing your step by step process and thoughts!
Thank you for watching and for your feedback - it means a lot!
I'm so glad I found you! These videos are so calming. Even the sound of your voice is relaxing.
And it's another great day of Saving the Beeeeees!!
So happy to see your videos again! It makes me🐝 so happy 🙂
Lucky bees! Just hanging out, trying to decide where to go, and a nice lady comes by with a bee hive and a new queen! ❤
I really admire ppl that march to their own drum that go about trying to help the world in their own way this gal is great!!
It was another great day of saving the beeeees❤❤❤
Very interesting! Enjoyed that a lot!❤ And everyone who missed you talking about the beees should be satisfied! Great day!!😊
Outstanding bee transfer. Thank you. 👍
Another day of saving the beeezz
It's back, yahoozee
The Bees are Happy
I thought you quit. I wondered if you were having an existential crisis, perhaps wondering To bee or not to bee?
HA! No, not at all. I feel very lucky to have found my calling in life and I'll be helping bees until my body or brain no longer can.
@@TexasBeeworks Then you remain as my hero, (heroine?)!
@@TexasBeeworksDo you sell your honey?? I'd love to buy some!!❤❤❤
You played matchmaker for a new Queen and an abandoned hive. Every bee wins.
The way you talk to the bees is how most people talk to cats and dogs!! I think it’s very sweet, people who call themselves animal lovers often forget that bees are animals, too. To be an animal lover is to love all animals, including bees. I really love watching your videos, it gives me quite a lot of faith in humankind.
Thank you for watching and especially for your thoughtful comment!
So glad you're posting more content!! 🐝
I love her.She talks to bees the way I talk to dogs. 😊
I love how you always have a spare queen in your pocket for emergencies 😊
I’ve always loved bees and found them to be absolutely adorable. My best friend and I found a bee in the shade outside this afternoon. It wasn’t moving too much and it was kinda chilly in the shade. We did breathe some hot/warm air into the bee and it responded well to our breath. It was fairly docile and didn’t mind us at all. I did use a leaf to pick it up but I moved it over to some flowers in the sun nearby where it was at least warmer.
Loved the vid and the adorable bees 😊
So happy you’re back Erika! We missed you and the beeezzz 🐝
So fascinating! I wish I had the land to set up an apiary, because I could spend hours watching those little beauties doing their work.
You are doing amazing work please keep saving the beeesszzzz
Wonderful!
I love these longer videos.
Thank you so much for what you do. People really don’t realize how important bees are to our survival. Just found your channel and I’m now subscribed. Wonderful to see especially a woman who understands these beautiful lil creatures. Your help with a new hive instead of a hammer is wonderful. Stay safe. A new fan.
Thank you for your very thoughtful comment, Helen. And thank you for supporting me and the bees.
@@TexasBeeworks always. You give such a beautiful helping way to care for a absolute necessity for our world.
Farmers would appreciate the pollinators.
"A Pollinator Garden is a type of garden designed with the intent of growing specific Nectar and Pollen-Producing plants, in a way that attracts pollinating insects known as Pollinators."
Except that honey bees are not native to the western hemisphere and are not as efficient as native pollinators.
This format is particularly cozy, i like it a lot! It's somehow conforting to see how you take your time to measure the best course of action to handle the bees, to watch them slowly accept and move to a new home. Keep up the good work, you're amazing!
Thank you so much for protecting these innocent lives❤
Must be bee season. Love these long videos (though the shorts with the soothing recording are the absolute highlight)
I wanna see you're apiary! What is home like to these bees?
Coming soon!
@@TexasBeeworks No way! Also duct tape is my favorite method of repair as well. :)
I've never been afraid of honey bees. They have always been too busy gathering pollen to cate about me
i could watch these videos all day long! Great editing and camerawork!
I love when you were sitting there with the queen cage, at 13:12 and you were trying to clean the fondant out. And there was this one B that was watching you and actually moving the fondant away. It was kinda like she was directing you how to get in there. I hope that hive survives. And I’m glad you’re doing more videos now. I watch a number of beekeepers and you’re only the second person who is put up a video of removing bees this year. I guess the heat was really difficult. I really like this new style of filming, and I don’t ever think I’ll forget that be watching you clean out the entrance to the queen cage. It was beautiful.
Maybe you can do an update on them. Thank you.
The musical accompaniment. Please, lower the volume/reduce the gain.
EDIT: Second half was much better.
👂😃👍🏻
Will do, thank you for your feedback!
Thank you for this comment. I also had trouble making out what Erika was saying due to the high volume of the music.
@@ElGato1947
You're welcome, I'm sure it was all too much and overwhelming, for your sensitive Kitty ears.😉
The very best musical accompaniment is so carefully selected and mindfully set, so natural, such that one could be almost unaware of it.
Such gentle little critters. Glad to see things worked out for them.
I'd love to see a follow up on this recovery
Most excellent video Erika, giving the lost bee’s a new home and a new queen! ⭐️ Love your new format and video. Keep up the great work 🥰
Thank you for your feedback! I'm so glad you liked this video and I hope you'll continue to share your thoughts as I post more videos coming soon!
Another great day saving the bees!
Listen, the buzzzz got out about you, they know who you are. They know you will take care of them. 😊
Lucky bees. Erica is sweeter than honey.
What a docile little colony. I'd love to find one like this. Thanks for sharing Erika. . Do you prefer Cordovans?
What a kind person. Love this channel
Bravo! It’s so wonderful to watch you saving the bees; they do essential pollination work. I’m always excited when you post a video 🙏❤️
I was interested in Texas Beesworks as a whole and so I did some looking.
1. Apparently, some people think you are fake.
2. Apparently, you are World Famous!
Obviously you were born for this
what are the signs if the bees don't like the new queen? can she be taken out and preserved for another hive?
This is my second time watching this video and just wanted to let you know you are truly a amazing woman and the work you do keep up the amazing work and videos
i love watching your videos !!! as someone who is allergic to bees i tend to keep my distance, but before i knew i was i would hang out around them all the time because i just love them so much, so now i get to live vicariously through your videos instead
Thank you for watching and for supporting the hard work of bees and beekeepers!
I want to learn beekeeping
That’s such a fun watch. I’m loving this type of video format.
I love your content. You can leave off the background music, or maybe use it much more sparingly, please.
You are sweet as honey!
🎶Sweet bees are made of these, who am I to disagree, travel the world and the seven seas, everybody is looking for honey🎵😂
...keep up the beautiful work!❤
HA! I love it!
@@TexasBeeworks
Thank you! I would have even sung it to you in person! I love how you approach the rescues like other people do kittens and puppies...it is so awesome to know that you have such a deep connection with such vulnerable beings...❤
Lol. Bee and Eurythmics fan
Just wow❤ i am also fall in love with mine bee's
What a neat vid thanks for sharing.
Back again, so happy!
So happy to be back!
I find this completely fascinating. I homeschool my kiddos and I think I'm going to show them this for Natural Science class.
Hope she gives us an update on the queens condition within the hive!
i'm sorry but the power move of pulling an entire live bee from your pocket is just insane
I’m a big fan!!!
Thank you for supporting me and the beeees!
@@TexasBeeworks your welcome!

Thank you for another great video. I’m new to your channel.
I noticed you took a break for a bit. Welcome back.

Hello to my favorite beekeeper and rescuer, it's so good to have you back for another great day of saving the bees!!
❤❤❤
Great to have you back 😊
Lovely video Erica - so nice to see you working with bee's in live action. Definitly gives a better sense of your love for them and your care and dedication to their happiness. I too have changed the style of presenting my videos to a more 'fly on the wall' style or should that be a 'bee on the wall' 😃
HA! I'm glad you like the new style and I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you, Paul!
Woohoo a long form video!
Its another great day of saving the beeeessssss!!!
Love this, thank you for what you do and for sharing it with us 🤗
Thank you for watching! I perform all of my bee removal services for free to help people and bees in need, and I couldn't do that without people like you watching my videos and supporting my work. I'm so grateful.
Great video so interesting
How ofter do you get stung???
I missed seeing your vids. 😊
I never get tired of watching you move the bees. Your information is so great!!! Kudos to your video person. Great job!
Thank you for watching and for your feedback! Full credit given to Alan Sanchez and Nic Roy of Sanchez Media. I love working with them and am so grateful that they want to share their time and talents to bring y'all great beekeeping videos.
love this channel
This long video was so much fun to watch. It is interesting to see the bees excited to have a new home and a new queen. Thank you for sharing this lovely rescue!
Oh my goodness, thank you for such kind words and I'm so glad you liked this removal!
It’s obvious that you love what you do! We enjoy watching and we learn so much. Thank you from your friends in Canada.
Wow! Thank you for watching all the way from Canada!!!
“I like to experiment with different queens”
Hey, we all had a drunken night at the wrong college party…
Really soothing voice
Great Channel .What do you know about killer bees😩😩😩
I doubt she knows much. Honey bees are a non-native species and are less efficient pollinators than native pollinators. Africanized bees are just a deadly invasive non-native version.
Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing! ❤ from Bristol, Wisconsin!
Didn't know that hives can accept a new queen like that. Very cool! Awesome to see some new content! Hope you're doing well Erika!! Keep on saving the beezz!
omg i didnt ralise they r so smart!
This was absolutely thrilling. I hope the queen got accepted :)
