I even tried asking them if they had a wider option but shorter because my heel & toes aren’t that far apart, but the shoes are still tight on a 12. went 12.5 & hoping it works because I started at 10.5 & working my way up since august, it’s december now

One more reason I'm loyal customer to BeLenka. My feet are hella wide. While researching barefoot shoes, I read BeLenka's are the best in that regard so I chose them and never tried something else. Best decision I ever made in terms of shoe wear and gotta give it to BeLenka, they got some of the best designs in the barefoot world.
Those shoes are actually quite narrow. You should check out an the “primal runamoc” model by Softstar shoes. Also, I’m not seeing a lot of mobility in your outer toes. Design flaw with most barefoot shoes is still not allowing our foot to bear weight naturally, I think because a shoe designed for functionality is visually unappealing to the masses.

I been using barefoot for 5-6 years and also have Xero HFS, after I bought splay shoes (even wider) when I come back to HFS or other that I have, I feel like it needs even more room
There's no width sizing for these shoes, which means they are medium to medium-wide at best. Maybe you meant widest shoes that you ever had. 10.8cm instep would be nice.
Zero shoes look narrow based on this video. You feet are pretty squished still. With those shoes they will never spread out. Also my vivos are as wide or wider than the one you said are the “widest”. They aren’t wider than others zero is just not that wide in comparison to better barefoot shoes.
Ahinsa are wider than the Belenka model shown here (this model is a narrow one). Otherwise Ahinsa and Belenka are about on par for width (just be careful of what Belenka model you choose to ensure the toe-box is squared-off enough). In general Ahinsa are wider across all models and more barefoot (thinner sole). However... Ahinsa are really low volume. By which I mean the vertical interior space around your toes/forefoot is tiny/shallow. And your toes get squished from above. So I've gone with Belenka. I will go back to Ahinsa once they give more volume in their shoes.
Ur toes look like they been crammed into xeros and im betting if you wore something like Earthrunners or Realfoot all the time they would unravel, take up more space, get stronger and you would have a wider splay. Like they seriously look like they are being crammed in those narrow looking xeros
For those prios, I have about an inch of toe space at the top of my liner. Do you think that’s too much and I should size down? They almost feel slightly too big
@@docksloan so I actually ordered a size down (14 for me) and got to try on both side by side. Def prefer having the extra toe space. But the HFS is a near perfect fit for me at a size 15. Ended up returning the smaller ones and kept the originals after getting to feel both of them
I know you made this comment ages ago, but any luck? I don't know if I measured my feet wrong, but every sizing guide on these barefoot shoes stores makes me sad. My width is always several sizes larger than the shoe that would be appropriate for my foot length.
I wear shoes from realfoot. They are super wide. One of my friends tried them after saying that they looked a bit goofy and now he wants to buy them yourself

Definitely wider than the Lems haha. I don’t have naturally wide feet so they felt very big at first but I’m getting used to them. Great for wearing toe spacers in 🤙🏼😄
I was so excited but I went to their website and found they are nowhere near wide enough for me. 24.5cm x 11.3cm (width) Their largest shoe is only 10.9cm. In my shoe size, the width is 9.4cm. Guess I'll just wear flippers. Lol

You have a wide forefoot, or your pinky toe is slightly bended inward, so it's not following the V-shape intelligent design of god nature. so you really have potential to have such a wide feet, that it wont fit into any normal barefoot shoe :-) if you walk only barefoot.
In regular shoe sizing they tend to get more wide as sizes go up, more so than length. So my size 12s fit similar in length to an 11 but much wider. I understand what you're getting at and all, but why sacrifice style to wear these hideous shoes if you can attempt to size up for a wider fit?
If a shoe doesn’t have a foot shaped toe box it doesn’t matter. “Wide” versions of shoes, even ones that are sized up, still taper to a point, which isn’t a natural shape for the foot. Hideous is subjective. I prefer my feet to function well into my years over making sure my fashion is just right.

I think at this point it depends on the actual shape of the foot. Not everyone has wide feet so they don't need that much extra space
