I'm watching this as a high Plat low Dimond player. I was not expecting simple techniques would really work so well. It's amazing how good these techniques actually work. Using them on the field I was blown away!
Every single time I do these videos (this is my fourth time) the platinums always say I played bad platinums... You guys need to realize constantly doing the right things that make your opponent awkward and have little boost makes it difficult for them to play their game. Trust me, these are normal platinums. Take my advice and rank up, you got this

Mizuuu like I do that but they are extremely mechy they save everything my peak is like a double reset to musty but they are freestyling and ballchasing a lot(I’m plat btw)
Either American plats and diamonds are WAY worse than European ones, or the small sample just represents the worse of the bunch, or (most likely) Mizu keeps them in check so they can never play like they're used to. That's the issue with these "no mechs" videos, if you're actually in the low ranks you might use mechanics that these SSLs intentionally ban themselves from using, but they can always adjust their gameplay slightly when they get in tight situations in ways you will never be able to.
I do think most pros are just so consistent and speedy in general that they end up completely controlling the matches regardless of if they mean to or not. Leth is the only creator that intentionally plays janky so that doesn't end up happening as much.
The video is setup, diamonds dont miss that many simple saves in a row... he's doing a video for views that's supposed to be informative. The people he's playing against are in on the setup. How do you people not know how these things work at this point. It's youtube, 90% of what you see is all set up for the purpose of what the creator is trying to portray. None of it is actually random, or real instances. He's big name, which sells the product.. doesn't mean its actually legit. Quit getting duped, lean how social media bs works

These "you need no mechs" from pros can't be adapted 100% from players that are lower ranked. Even without mechs a pro is superior in every regard (game sense, positioning, boost management, shooting etc etc.) I am c2-c3 and played a plat 3 friend in 1v1. I disabled boost and still won. So my message is: You don't need boost to rank up. 🤡

I really don’t understand how every time I watch videos like these the high ranked players (champ 2 which is approx top 1% in 1’s) look like plats. A lot of people who are c2 in 1’s are likely gc2 in 2’s or 3’s.
What opponents are you faceing.... At plat 3 or diamond 1, They pro air dribble, Ball chase, flip reset and so on. Not one of that Technics work on My rank 😢

What are the basics you would recommend for 1v1s except aerials and shadow defences , I’ve started learning hook shots and power shots but I’m still stuck in gold 3. My problem is a start panicking whenever I get possession of the ball , any tips to help?
Take your shots from farther away. I was stuck in gold 3 for like 5 months. Learning to take hard and accurate shots from far away was how I got out of gold and I float between Plat 3 and Diamond 1 now. Also, very niche for me, but I got good at kuxir pinches. Can’t emphasize how much that catches people off guard. Nobody is expecting you to slam the ball into their net from your own corner. But I had to practice those for like 10 hours before I could use them at all reliably in game. But if you get your wall pinches consistent, they’re a pretty dangerous weapon in 1s and 2s. If you’re playing a lot of 2s, that’s especially important. Especially if your teammate isn’t rotating. I sort of play defensively, and let my teammate play with the ball. People will leave it wide open for you in gold 3 after someone whiffs. Being able to dribble well is a good thing, but I feel like people just expect that more than they do a well placed shot from far away. I learned to watch my teammates and my opponents a lot more. And to be patient. If you just watch for openings, you can capitalize a LOT off of the smallest mistakes. See both of your opponents up on the ball, or one on the left and one on the right? Wait back and let them hit the ball (chances are your teammate is in front of you so shadow defense is somewhat pointless because they’ll just bump you). Also, probably my biggest point, if your teammate is ball chasing and they go for a shot and whiff, or it bounces off the back board and you have a shot, only go for it if you know you’re putting it in. If you go for it, you’ll sacrifice the only defense that your team has lol. Oh and also, the space you leave for teammate should be like 1/3 of the field. Close enough to follow up if they need it, but far enough back to be the safety net. Also read your teammates too. You won’t always get ball chasers, sometimes you’ll get more defensive people. Use that time to practice your possession and dribbling and-if they work with you-your passing. In 2s, learning to work well with whatever teammate you have is crucial
I don't see how 27 straight wins get you from bronze one to ssl. That's not possible for me. 27 straight wins would have only gotten me up to upper gold or lower plat. What is the trick?

Normally im not that type of guy, but im diamond 1 in ones, and every single opponent knows how to speedflip, i know it as well since i ranked up to champ in doubles. I even get scored on by a flipreset, I guess I gave them to much space though. But the fact that he could score a flipreset in an ones game is crazy, when your diamonds dont even know how to save the ball backwards...

As a really iffy gold player, I've never seen opponents in gold like he played. Either I just really suck (likely) or these players he's getting isn't what I'm getting 😆 I can't get to Plat to save my life. I practice and play freeplay all the time. I watch tutorials and do recommended training packs. The golds and plats I get are so aggressive and toxic.

More you play rank and more you need many wins for getting the same point as the new player...rank make no sens now.

The rank symbol seemed to always be a full rank higher than it actually was, it was plat 3 when it was showing diamond 3 etc
