I'm doing it on console, I found if you dont pull the stick all the way back and instead find the point where you start to walk backwards and hit jump at that point you will get a better dash with no movement deadzone about 5-25% stick movement is needed and with large maybe 25-50% itll slow you down if you fully move the stick backwards

I'm going to assume Alter's weight is actually different than most legends, because she needed to be lifted from the floor on ceiling breaches, which is likely easier with less weight. This was likely given advanced logic down the line, but I could see myself using this during development. Usually a simple fix for any surface clipping would be to reduce the character's weight & add a force in the direction of the nearest standing surface(this increases the amount of time the engine has to detect a surface to stand on).

I believe alters hitbox/physics are bugged slightly, more so animation/physics lag. Her anims bug out in kill cams, ive had instances where things just dont make sense when playing alter (buggy physics) and the discovery in this video with the jump pad is making things add up Could be far fetched.
Hot take here perhaps but things are getting so complicated for me like damn I love movement Titan fall 2 tribes ascend tf2 are my favourite games but with apex I feel like if I don’t spend like hours to grind to be able to do these techniques I’m behind and I just don’t have the time nor the patience to grind movement in the firing range after getting super glides consistent and mantle jumps semi consistent I feel like I just give up as there are always new tech being discovered that may or may not get patched so you never really know if all that practice will pay off. Also it just is not a rewarding feeling grinding the movement like failing to hit a super glide for 2 hours straight is just awful and then when you eventually get it it’s like who cares there are aim assist cfg abusing octanes just gonna neo strafe on you anyways. The grind for moment just simply isn’t fun in this game they really really need to add a server browser and learn from r5 having custom challenge maps directly available in game would be amazing

if your keyboard sofrware allows it, you can just bind a "macro" (thats how it's called on hyperX) to any key which presses it pefectly at the same time for you, for a 100% success rate

Respawn should hire someone like MS and together with some good programmers they should revamp all of the movement tech code. For example get rid of superglides but replace them with something similar that everyone can pull off. Every character's model can be updated to wear booster packs to make it seem halfway plausible.
you should make the first 8-10 seconds of this as a short i promise from a gen z prospective that would be so funny edit you could def make it longer but engagement might go down as those first 10 seconds are peak
what i did was i just put a second backward input for me "X" on Keyboard its way more constistent for me i havent missed a single one with that but i think its just preference

didn’t read past the like first 2 lines but all characters use the rifts. Alters only ability that only she can use is the passive death box looting.
