Small detail: DRS at the end of middle sector wasn't added until 2019
Yh 2018/2019 they added more drs zones
That makes hamiltons lap more impressive, because even without drs he got a faster lap than leclerc 2019

Monza 2008🇮🇹 (Seb 1st Pole in Toro Rosso in wet Conditions)
& Monaco 1988🇲🇨 (Senna's Art In Streets)
Those two were in my mind as well
Vettels lap can Be hard to Make becouse IT was in the wet condition
I don't think the car in this mod had all the downforce that Lewis's car had because your straight line speed was way too high... I never saw someone in real life reaching 336 kph at the end of the longest straight
I always thought the brakes are just really bad on this mod. You have to brake sometimes 30-40 meters before you would in real life. The only lap I can find with telemetry is the pole lap from the previous year from Sebastian Vettel. Vettel hit 320 on Raffels Boulevard and took the final corner at 200. Here, the mod hits 336 like you said on Raffels Boulevard and 235 on the final corner, which suggests that the car does have the downforce needed (I would imagine a car from 2018 would be about 10-20 km/h faster around that corner than the previous year).
@@potatogirlcultist19 Judging from one corner you can't really say that the car had the right downforce levels, maybe it was realistic in that high speed corner but maybe not in the slow speed ones... brakes cannot be the only wrong thing in this mod, Tom was 2.5 seconds slower so there must be something else.
@@vamositalia4600 it could be mechanical grip in the low speed corners, the car still seems still looks understeery on entry and very loose on exit so he's losing time through the slower corners

I remember this lap. I was at work and sneaked an earbud to listen to quali. I had to stop myself from screaming. Very fitting to be the first lap you couldn't match

One helpful way would be tosimulate Max’s lap at roughly the same speed as in Jeddah 2021 and see the lap time
I am wagering it would be a 27.2-27.3 if you know what I mean
could check his s1 and s2 times and then take like a s3 time from q2 or something and take a tad bit off@@HebaTaskeen

That Hamilton guy since 2008 and even till now has always been that one to beat and he has all them dam records as well and is always that fast guy that always gets the press is also that guy if he has a car thats like redbull he would be winning all of them old races all over again

This wo9 mod needs more rear grip in my opinion
i missed the rainbow selection 2015-2018 were amazing years
the rainbow selection is still technically in the sport just that the tyres colours are now only red yellow and white but they are dictated by the compound number of the tyre with only 1 tyre set from the rainbow selection not being included which is either the hypersoft or the super hard.
honestly love the rainbow tyres of 2016-18, gives you context of the characteristics of the circuit

Learn to do this in cockpit, it'll take a few months but it's so much more rewarding
Consider that you didn't have access to the differential settings that are quite fundamental here. Also, you didn't try to change brake bias during the lap. And the mod might not be completely accurate, it looks like it has too much power and makes it impossible to put it down out of corners
You should try to beat one and only pole of Robert Kubica at 2008 Bahrain Grand Prix

Something felt weird for low speed.. seemed like the car was not turning at all, and it made it so that you wouldn’t be able to go on the throttle early… you had to wait a lot of time until you could accelerate
It wheelspins a lot even with C5 compound so you have to sacrifice exit speed either by short shifting to minimize the wheelspin or being very very gentle with the throttle

Somehow I got 149 in hards
the mod is no where near perfect, the hp is too high at high rpm but too low at low rpm, the brakes lock up way too easily and the downforce levels are far off
