thing about er is that you hand tighten it so there are multiple places that create runout. Pull stud, collet position, condition etc collet nut tightness. I watched rego fix video about it. It was crazy. Speaking of rego fix. For shoo get power grip tools when the cash flow is good.

Yeah ergo fix would be nice haha. I think when the cash becomes a little more positive I’m going to try some hydro stuff. Maritool just starting selling some hydraulic holders so I’ll give those a shot.

Quick question for you. Have you ever tripped the breaker on your panel from this machine when you run at full speed and ramp up? I've been trying to figure out what size to get and every where I'm see is saying 100+ amp breaker. I remember from your other video you had a 60 amp breaker.

Never have! Pretty sure you could run this thing on a 40 amp breaker if you had to

They spec the amps on the machine datasheet for vf2ss 70a at 220vac or 35 at 440vac

@@split141x 100% agree. I have a VM3 with 15k spindle 5th axis trunion and 1k psi tsc pump i dont think ive ever hit more that 13 amps of 3 phase on the phase perfect phase converter. This was my biggest concern when i was getting my machine. hass SO SO over rated on power / power requirements. I know ive read people have even got a way with a 20amp breaker in their garage in a pinch.

Great vid man! very thoughtful on your process. Blade looks great! As for checking run out its best to check the actual flutes just spin it backwards slowly by hand and check each flute for its max reading. Thats the only part that actually matters when it comes to runout.

Keep it simple man, fussing over those tiny details on the blade aren't making you money. You're going to bead blast and tumble them aren't you? 🤔

Think you might have some insider knowledge if you knew that’s what I was going to do :P
