Hi , i love this game it is a great improvement but i still have issue with how you portray the feel of grip in your cars😂 I think those would have greater grip at low speed but in the game play looks like they slide too much at low speed, or maybe as if you always had the gas at full throttle because you control it with a button that is on or off, orvas if it was raining heavily, etc. Either way i like the colors and the cars look very good and the dust effects all look very nice
Thanks! I know that the car feels unrealistic - maybe not even at low speeds, but I didn't want a simulation. I wanted high-speed drifting that was fun! And I wanted the game to be controllable with the keyboard. There are already great simulations for Godot, some even open-source!
Thank you! I've already made a drift car demo project (notabug.org/tomaga/DriftCarG4). It contains info of how it all works. If there are any questions, please feel free to leave another comment here on yt. I've also made some other videos you may find interesting.
Looks promising. Kinda like Art of Rally with the addition of bonnet cam.
Actually. It's more like Circuit Superstar in comparison.
Thanks, more content will follow. I am currently working on the competitor AI.
great work man
Thanks trainzmarcel, it's even fun to play right now. But I have to focus on improving the AI.
daaaamn, looks fire
Thanks IPlayKindred, nice to hear from you again!

I AM FROM UZBEKISTAN. I LIKE THE GODOT ENGINE TOO. GODOT ENGINE IS AWESOME FOR ME. WHERE ARE YOU FROM ?, FOR ME INTERESTING .
Greetings from Germany!
This is look like roblox damn
are you using vechild body 3d or built the controller from scratch?
I use my own car controller. The suspension is based on four ray casts. I've also published a few videos where I describe the car controller.
This looks great, are you using godot's VehicleBody3d or did you create a controller of your own?
Thank you! I made my own controller. The suspension is based on four ray casts.
Wow! Can you please make a tutorial on how make a drift car in godot? It would help a LOT!!
