Thank you Mr Kunnuji for this! Truely, a cross traditional/cultural or should i say political paradigm shift is needed to fully understand the depths of this but you guys explained it to us. Music does link everything as said. Nice watch and a very informative one.I always look forward to your post on both Facebook and on here. Let me quickly add that in the 18th/19th century, Music was seen and appreciated with an Euro-centric feel plus there were different interpretations made prior to colonization period which made it some sort difficult till present i guess...as there seemed to be a lack of records/it been written down back then. As he said,we should all embrace Ethnomusicology...it will help us all understand and vibe to both non.western and western Music and get a proper gasp of what is termed "Music of the past" and the current "living musical traditions"
