If the recenter to target option is missing check "lock to target on assign" is set in the Orbits > binding mode of your cinemachine camera. It doesn't appear under different settings.
Hey Ketra Games could you please do a tutorial on how to insert melee combat mechanics with the input system based on the character movement script you guys already made tutorials about? That would be helpful
thank you again so much for these video tutorials, you are amazing! for the " left ctrl works but Right Trigger on gamepad does not" bug on the PS4 controller. use axis 5 instead of 10. it is the same PS4 controller bug that causes the camera to spin wildly with no input. anyway I hope these comments save someone a headache. Watched the tutorial and thanks for sharing it! If I may be free to bring up some future ideas: You might adapt to the (new) Input System, which would abstract the mappings of left ctrl on keyboard & right trigger on gamepads into actions. But probably it would also require to redo more things currently present 😅
Thanks for the idea. We started the series with the old input system as we thought it was a bit easier to get up and running with for a beginner, but now the series has moved onto more complex topics and the new input system is well established, so it's probably a good time to do a video showing how to upgrade to the new input system 😊
Hi Ketra, great video! If you could help me with an issue, I used the scrollwheel click for the camera recenter, but when I press it, it only recenters the camera a little bit, I have to keep pressing to recenter all the way. Any idea to resolve this problem?
Hi, you could try adding a delay before you turn the recentre off again. You can invoke a method after a set amount of time -docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/MonoBehaviour.Invoke.html Hope that helps 😊

I'm trying to make my character fly when double jump, and when it's on the air, hold a broom beneath it (my character is a witch). Could you explain me what do I have to do/search so I can achieve this "mission" ?
Hi, if you want to have various states such as double jump and flying I'd suggest you look into how to implement a State Machine. It will really help you to easily add additional functionality to your character.

Hi, it should be there. Are you using an up to date version of Uinty/Cinemachine?
It won't show up unless "Binding Mode" is set to "Lock To Target On Assign."

At 1:42 use 9th axis instead of 10th axis
i cant do this in Cinemachine 2.8
