I'll be attending Full Sails Digital Cinematography course which includes an FX6 part of their Launch Box program, Your videos are a huge help on what to expect.
Hey - Nice video. The FX6 is able to shoot in X-AVC L which is Long GOP. That'll mean the file sizes between your two cameras should be similar. Compared to blackmagic cameras, these file sizes are a treat.
Interesting video - some years ago, I bought a Rock'n'Roller cart and recently upgraded to an Adicam cart, so I can use it for both transporting stuff to/from my car AND use it as a desk when producing.
You created a great statement man. "It's a dumb concept to think if you show up with expensive stuff vs the same expensive price equipment that don't look like the other... you will be judged". (In formality of course lol) Great stuff bro! So true though. I'm just getting cranked up and have my first realistic client meeting on Tuesday and I hope to get it. Another quote I'm sending tonight for another client in Houston Texas hope to get that for sure. Great video and inspirational my guy. But hey, don't over-complicate it. The camera is on and you are doing you bro, can't wait to get on A level of this, just got my rig not long ago. Got my lights, cameras and just waiting for action!
Let’s tooo and congrats! I hope the meeting goes smooth and you land the gig. I started with a tiny Sony a6300 and a tiny gimbal and slowly worked my way to a full frame and eventually a cinema camera. You got this!

I'm going to have to look into the Adicam cart. Thanks!
Nice work. I only use my fx6 for interviews or events now but it’s definitely different from using a fx3 that I use very often for real

Totally agree!
This is awesome
Try using the 4k 8-bit format in the fx6 you will be surprised how good it is
I tried on the on the latest vlog! Such a space saver for sure.

I’ve also just made the jump from an a7IV to FX6.
When shooting log with the Fx6 are you still over exposing to 1.7+??
@@adamwesterhout I currently use my monitor’s false color and still use histogram to properly expose. Now I nail it every time.
