Thanks for listening to another episode of Ads and Dunks!
Favourite stadium food has to be what I discovered watching the ice hockey in Canada, the local league Kelowna Rockets, the first time I had heard of poutine, chips covered in cheese curd and gravy, doesn’t get much better, especially in the freezing cold!
Best of luck this week boys, I have been waiting for the Brooke’s Blooms showdown all season. Surely there has to be some sort of trophy that the victorious player gets to display after the win? Keep up the good work, go the 🦁
Hard to go past a chicken burger and chips at the MCG, cheeky coke zero on the side you beauty. love ya work boys, good game against my pies on the weekend ads❤
You never go wrong with hotdog, easy and tasty!
I’m France, my favorite one is hop chips especially when it’s cold outside.
I’m moving back to France and leaving Australia at the end of June, my last game will be the dogs against Freo, I would love to have an Ads and Dunks cap for the game. Footy will be the oz thing I’ll miss the most for sure!
Hot dogs are the easiest and least messy "stadium food" though none hold a candle to the ones our local baseball club serve - fresh is always best.
As an extra, I think Brado deserves a mention (show some extra love) for the work he does at the end of each pod. But, he should update the tipping results each week.
Love listening to two authentic, level-headed blokes having a chat. Thanks.
Go Lions 🦁 🦁.
Best stadium food has got to be the warm mini jam donuts at the Gabba 🦁🦁 Probably the messiest thing to eat considering they’re covered in sugar, I swear it blows away in the wind and hits other people. So worth it though.
The most random but delicious stadium food I ate was Indian at Adelaide oval. I recently moved house and there was a restaurant called beyond India that's my absolute favourite Indian in Adelaide.. I saw the truck at Adelaide Oval by chance so I got a little bit of butter chicken and cheese naan. It literally made me forget how much Carlton were losing by and the fact that hubby and I were being heckled by a 10 year old the entire game (we were sitting in the Adelaide members section so fair heckling 😅). 🔴⚪🔵 🐶
The best but also the most rogue stadium food is hot chips covered in butter chicken at Optus stadium. But it’s hard to go past a pie and sauce at the footy as a half time snack. Love the pod and looking forward to watching you guys play against each other next week ❤
Oohh the stadium food was my question, thought of it after watching some vloggers going to korea and watching baseball while they had legit korean bbq in the stadium.
Hard to go past hot chips, I feel like they're always better than the pie or hotdog and good to share. Love the poddy
