Collage Band joined Steve Rothery on stage for just one gig @ VooDoo Club in Warsaw Poland to play few Marillion songs. Crowd was not big, but venue was organized by The Web Poland as "Guitar Masterclass with Steve Rothery".
I can't describe emotions and where they took me this evening.
First time live experience of old Fish-era hits like Incubus, Cindirella Search, Chelsea Monday... Goosebumps everywhere and couldn't stop tears...
They had only one rehearsal before this show! So can't blame vocalist for ruining second half of Incubus Solo.

Collage Band is well known prog-rock polish band. Their record "Moonshine" reached 4th place in Prog Magazine's Top 100 best prog albums of 90s.

Its criminal that this band isn't more well known and loved. It is a tribute that SR did this gig with them, as he knows their capabilities! Prog on!

Solo Stevie Rotherego w Incubus jak zwykle piękne i przejmujące. Szkoda tylko, że skrócone przedwczesnym wejściem wokalu Bartka.

When did Collage get back together? Which old members are in it now? Thx
In this concert there are three musicians who played on "Nine songs of John Lennon", "Moonshine" and "Safe": Piotr "Mintay" Witkowski (bass), Krzysztof Palczewski (keyboards) and Wojciech Szadkowski (drums). New members here are Michał Kirmuć (guitar, since 2015) and Bartosz Kossowicz (vocal, since 2017). Collage split in 1996 and has been active again since 2013. Unfortunately, Robert Amirian, the vocalist in the three above albums, did not re-join them. Even more unfortunately, Mirosław Gil is no longer with the band. Still, he plays in some other projects.
There have been some hints about a new album since 2018 but I do not know its actual status.

This was my first time ever listening this song live and Bartek just throw away half of this incredible guitar solo...
But on Chelsea monday he saved Steven's Solo, when Steve made few mistakes ...
You must all know that they had only one reharsal before this gig and never played together before... Collage band also played this songs for first time so i am very proud of them all. Best moments for me: Steve's amazing solo on new Collage song, incredible Cinderella Search and Affraid Of Sunlight :)

tak trudno dogonić Fish'a...
Jako fan dawnego Marillion będę niestety się czepiał. Tym razem pierwsze solo w Chelsea Monday skrócone przez perkusistę, następnie po zorientowaniu się wznowione. Steve jest świetnym człowiekiem, podziwiam jego wyrozumiałość - wszystko znosił z uśmiechem. Panowie, zapraszając żywą legendę, wypadaloby lepiej przygotować się do wspólnego występu.
Jester czy czytałeś opis? Zespół przygotowywał się sam. Mieli niedużo czasu. Ich współudział w występie był spontaniczny, wsparty jedynie jedną próbą. W grupie polskich fanów na fejsbooku pod postem omawiającym chęć zorganizowania spotkania wielbicieli Marillion rok po Marillion Weekend w Łodzi w 2017r sam na forum napisał, że jeśli będziemy chcieli gościa honorowego na takim złocie to jest gotów poprowadzić Guitar Masterclass dla fanów. Koncert był zaaranżowany przy okazji i to Collage było gośćmi Steve'a a nie odwrotnie :)
No właśnie nie czytałem, dlatego tak to wygląda 😉. Zwracam honor. Cudne spotkanie, żałuję, że bez mojego udziału. Pzdr.
