I am also wondering who did the make-up and styled the YG trainees on their audition, and who approved it. The 3 of them looked so much better in the next episodes even with little to no make up at all. The only thing that JYP did right in this clip is acknowledging the good body proportion and unique voice of Junkyu. JYP, Junkyu have already proven you wrong!!!!!!!! He is doing better now compared to most of those who have been finalists on this show.

Well I can definitely tell Byeongkwan can not beat Junkyu as vocal so him saying their team dances better is just inappropriate because in a team their should be members focused on vocals and others in dances. How can he not know this when he probably been training too?

OMG.. I think mixnine was really painful... More painful than ygtb.. That's why he lost his confidence.. I didn't watch mixnine so I don't have any idea about it.. but I can tell that it was really painful.. I'm really happy that he got his confidence back and now he is doing awesome...
Mixnine was awful. The editing was terrible. The program format was confusing. It was too bad bc there were a lot of talented people on there. However, I did feel like they focused more on the looks than the talent, especially the girls. The songs provided by YG were bangers which were such a waste. The top 9 boys and girls barely changed so a lot of the contestants didn’t have exposure at all. And in the end, they didn’t even debut. YG did them dirty. Luckily, these three have already debuted. The other idol competition, “The Unit” was actually better than mixnine. The Unit contestants had more camaraderie, better training, more well-rounded trainees (composed, rearranged and choreographed songs). And both boy and girl groups were able to promote for a year.

YG promised that the winning groups will debut but no, he said he will train them more and promote after 1 or 2 yrs. some of the trainees are already past debut age, so if they don’t get the debut from YG, it’s just better to go back to their companies. It was shady of YG to tell the agencies he will be debuting the winners but totally flaked when it’s time to promote them. The other idol competition show by Rain was able to deliver on their promises. They were able to promote the boy and girl group winners with new songs. If YG didn’t have any intention to debut the mixnine winners, he should’ve just enlisted YG trainees, not give false hope to other small agencies. Some of them were lucky (talented as well) to be able to use that exposure and become more popular. Like A.C.E. and M.O.N.T. who are still active to this day. I’m happy for Hyunsuk, Junkyu and Byeonggon bc even they’ve been able to use the mixnine experience in YGTB. However, there were a lot of mixnine participants leaning on that last chance to debut, with the help of a huge company. YG didn’t deliver.
I admire Soojin's (Weeekly leader) reaction, she appreciates Junkyu's voice when nobody notices him in Mixnine. Also, both Soojin and Junkyu came from the same dance academy (Def Skool) and also Doyoung Treasure.

i cried after watching this,,, im a junkyu stan since debut era and i knew his past in mixnine and jyp and i saw some short clips but this is the first time i saw the whole video with other trainees commenting abt his performance. the reason i cried is not because i took pity on junkyu but because i saw how junkyu grow and gain his confidence,, we all know that junkyu today is like a cutie and a vitamin c and seeing this video made me want to protect him. i love you junkyu so much edit: my original comment is now 11 months old and i am still angry at jyp for saying those harsh words on junkyu. almost a year has passed and im still here loving and stanning junkyu ! im so happy that junkyu is now happier, stronger, and im glad he's being the person he wants right now :)) anyways, treasure comeback on februrary 15, 2022 !!

JYP made our Junkyu lose his confidence, made him feel unworthy to be in the industry, broke him down, failed to recognise his talent. YG's known Junkyu is a trump card, an ace and recognised his talent, passion and skills, YG kept pushing him and the environment in YG was way better than other places. See now we know. We love seeing our boy enjoy on stage-off stage, be an effortless swagger and a cute lil Koala.

I still clearly remeber that time all of them including Ryujin giving harsh comments towards him. Only Soojin appreciate his vocals and talent but the rest of them are so hard during mixnine. I watch that every episodes during broadcast everyweek 2017

I didn't watch mixnine so I don't have any idea about it.. but I can tell that it was really painful..
I'm really happy that he got his confidence back and now he is doing awesome...

Mixnine was awful. The editing was terrible. The program format was confusing. It was too bad bc there were a lot of talented people on there. However, I did feel like they focused more on the looks than the talent, especially the girls. The songs provided by YG were bangers which were such a waste. The top 9 boys and girls barely changed so a lot of the contestants didn’t have exposure at all. And in the end, they didn’t even debut. YG did them dirty. Luckily, these three have already debuted. The other idol competition, “The Unit” was actually better than mixnine. The Unit contestants had more camaraderie, better training, more well-rounded trainees (composed, rearranged and choreographed songs). And both boy and girl groups were able to promote for a year.

@@peggydvj_ but then it's not only YG's fault but also all the agency participated cause at the beginning they must talk about the agreement instead they decided the final contract after the show they don't clear things first before they started the agencies agree to let their trainees promoted under YG but they messed up the years they will promote but yeah it's all in the past I'm so happy atleast these 3 debut already & some trainees shown here in mixnine already debuted because of the show showing their talents like Ruijin she caught my attention here before but now i heard some rumors something bad about her

YG promised that the winning groups will debut but no, he said he will train them more and promote after 1 or 2 yrs. some of the trainees are already past debut age, so if they don’t get the debut from YG, it’s just better to go back to their companies. It was shady of YG to tell the agencies he will be debuting the winners but totally flaked when it’s time to promote them. The other idol competition show by Rain was able to deliver on their promises. They were able to promote the boy and girl group winners with new songs. If YG didn’t have any intention to debut the mixnine winners, he should’ve just enlisted YG trainees, not give false hope to other small agencies. Some of them were lucky (talented as well) to be able to use that exposure and become more popular. Like A.C.E. and M.O.N.T. who are still active to this day.
I’m happy for Hyunsuk, Junkyu and Byeonggon bc even they’ve been able to use the mixnine experience in YGTB. However, there were a lot of mixnine participants leaning on that last chance to debut, with the help of a huge company. YG didn’t deliver.
I admire Soojin's (Weeekly leader) reaction, she appreciates Junkyu's voice when nobody notices him in Mixnine. Also, both Soojin and Junkyu came from the same dance academy (Def Skool) and also Doyoung Treasure.

Junkyu just gives off YG AURA...in a performance,no matter how skilled u are if u don't have charm and confidence in you,the show won't be that satisfying.YG artists are just on another level...they produce performers and artists not just idols not jusy like any other groups out there(but im not downgrading nor hating 'em).And their music is just masterpiece and most of us cup of tea. What people don't realize is YHS can be rude to his trainees and says many thing if he sees they're lacking but it hurt him when some outsider talk shit about his trainees. i cried after watching this,,, im a junkyu stan since debut era and i knew his past in mixnine and jyp and i saw some short clips but this is the first time i saw the whole video with other trainees commenting abt his performance. the reason i cried is not because i took pity on junkyu but because i saw how junkyu grow and gain his confidence,, we all know that junkyu today is like a cutie and a vitamin c and seeing this video made me want to protect him. i love you junkyu so much

JYP made our Junkyu lose his confidence, made him feel unworthy to be in the industry, broke him down, failed to recognise his talent. YG's known Junkyu is a trump card, an ace and recognised his talent, passion and skills, YG kept pushing him and the environment in YG was way better than other places. See now we know. We love seeing our boy enjoy on stage-off stage, be an effortless swagger and a cute lil Koala.

Everyone!! This is the perfect example of 'be careful what you say because you don't know what lies ahead of you'. The fact that they're still trainees yet have an unpleasant attitudes is kinda discouraging. Other trainees boasting about their talent but what now?! You didn't even have a chance to debut while the person you looking down is achieving lots of awards as member of a rookie group. Mind you a ROOKIE GROUP! He is sooo much successful but still remain his feet on the ground. To tell you nothing can beat a person with a good attitude.

I still clearly remeber that time all of them including Ryujin giving harsh comments towards him. Only Soojin appreciate his vocals and talent but the rest of them are so hard during mixnine. I watch that every episodes during broadcast everyweek 2017

"I thought 'YG is awesome' but it's not like that" what's rude about that? It wasn't even hateful. SOMEONE ASKED HER what she thought and Ryujin answered. We are not even sure if it the translation is HOW she meant it in Korean (you know how much is lost/added in translation). Also Ryujin has a habit of smiling whenever she feels awkward/shy.

- Ryujin made many friends (ex. the two members from the girl group Loona). You can see her laughing & joking around with other trainees in the behind the scenes. And she's still close with some of them even after her debut.
- The girls had to vote for who's going to be a leader in one performance and one girl insisted on being a leader and underestimated Ryujin while the latter just kept quiet but all the girls still voted for Ryujin.
- There was one time when a trainer told Ryujin to take her team member's part (because Ryujin could do it better than her according to the trainer) but Ryujin didn't replace her and even COMFORTED as well as CHEERED UP the girl.
- She was also given the chance to choose the song she wants to perform one time, but because she didn't want to hurt someone by replacing the person she just chose the other song even though it wasn't what she liked, despite having the power to kick someone out.
You can't judge a person's character based on a very short clip. You know how shows like this tend to do evil editing.

I was not judging based on this short clip because I seen her personality enter show and episode. Everyone knows she rank #1 all throughout the show but boys team made debut by YG didn't push it after the survival show because of the feedback instead he create another one YG Treasure Box.

Ok but they all should know how YG mainly focuses on rap, stage presence, live performance, individuality, style, connecting with the audience, entertaining, expressing emotions, vocals, bringing something new to the show over dance.
