So what's with the Auriga crane having 4 steer axles and only one lockable drive axle? Stands to reason if you gotta maneuver that thing in places where all the axles underneath have to be steerable it's gonna need more than one axle to move it.
So the only real idiot on the road in this vid is the guy in the Peterbilt who didn't stop and lost his back end off big wide clean asphalt. The rest doing their best to overcome real difficulties.

The thing is, a big heavy crane should never leave the asphalt, so usually one drove axle is enough. And for off-road use there a special cranes
