You can leave the fat on and scar it FYI, some honey & sugar over it will make it delicious and EDIBLE! Your recipe if you can call it that looks typically American! Boring and bland. Check out some other people such as Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey, Rachel Allen and Donal Skehan. The recipe above is just shocking and has no imagination at all. Very poor indeed.
If you are a carb counter or pre-diabetic Type 2 - toss the brown sugar. These are pretty common. I can add a small amount of celery powder. And I will sometimes sub sweet smoked Spanish paprika; cut amount in half. Lot of room to play here. I also toss salt, but let the shaker go to the table for those that desire - just remember the word POWDER .
This recipe will teach you to cook a tenderloin at whatever temperature your imagination can come up with because this guy sure didn’t say anything about temperature but apparently it cooks in 20 minutes so go ahead and set your oven to 1600°F
Nice man, good recipe! I used red fermented rice powder, brown sugar spicy, cayenne, garlic, salt pepper turn out to Hongkong BBQ pork. It took me 1 hour at 350F to roast 4.5 lb. pork loin. Pull out from the oven at the center temperature reaches to 140F, let the rest heat to cook will not dry the meat. Place the paper on the pan for easy cleaning.
I saved this recipe years ago and I come back to it every time to make a pork loin very simple very tasty the only thing I always come back for is the temperature
LOL, great comment - it really is uncanny how many people tell Joey this and he has even been asked "are you the guy from White Men Can't Jump!" Thx for checking out our vid!
I like using a cast iron skillet. I preheat the cast-iron along with the oven, and when you lay the pork loin in that it gets a great sear. You don't get the same air circulation in a cast iron skillet though.
Response: Your recipe and cooking directions were spot on. Literally the best pork tenderloin I’ve ever eaten. Our seasoning was paprika, oregano, salt and pepper. Us older folks side caution with spices. Our accompaniment was roasted broccoli, onion and chunks of red potatoes. OMG! Delicious. Thank you Red Meat Lover, Joe & Mary
Thanku, never cooked a pork oin. Scratching my process and leaving it alone like my son said. It still has the silvery slab on it but it's seasoned. I was gonna bake it in a Pyrex dish and drown it with water and bake for an hour. Key word "was".
Maybe braise it after a full sear all sides seared place in a pork or vege stock and a mix of raw veggies and use to the leftover stock for a glaze or a gravy
Best Pork Tenderloin I've ever made: Treated almost exactly as Joey did through seasoning (with a different rub, but same basic idea). Once it was seasoned and rested, it was vacuum sealed in a temperature safe pouch (Food Saver is the brand I have) and placed in a Sous Vide bath at 137°F for 4 hours. After 4 hours, I hit it with a blow-torch with a diffusing head (like a SEARZALL) to get a nice crispy sear. After sear, I let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing it on a bias in two directions. The greatest thing about Sous Vide is you can cook at exactly the perfect temperature and you don't have to go to the 145°F temperature and risk things drying out.
All you crying about “ what temperature do I preheat “, background music was awful “ , “ did he throw raw meat in sink”, video too long, I wondered myself about the preheat temp but all you had to do was go to comments and he apologized for leaving it out. There are hundreds of recipes for pork tenderloin, shoot ask Alexa. He did a wonderful job and if you weren’t happy with the lack of one detail, do some research, heck ,he cooked the whole darn thing for you. Much appreciated Joe and others who gave him kudos! Will be back again and no whining!
Nicely done! I'm Missouri raised(although I resied on the east coast now) No one here can properly prepare prime rib! Any recipes would be greatly appreciated!
Also, thx for the nice feedback on the vid - if you’re in STL, we hear Kreis Steak House has some of the areas best prime rib ( we haven’t personally tried)
Thanks for taking time to leave positive feedback, much appreciated! We recommend a temp of 450F for about 20 minutes or an internal temp of 145 - 160F. You can find our blog post on the recipe here: redmeatlover.com/recipe/easy-oven-baked-pork-tenderloin-video-recipe/ Let us know how it turns out!
You literally had to scroll past the temperature as you posted. your comments 7 months ago and over a year ago he pinned a comment that states the temperature
So many ppl think he looks like Woody Harrelson. Me? I'm like. I'm looking at him in the small view of the vid on my phone and I am NOT seeing the resemblance lmao
I wonder if you would get a good result seared first on an oiled cast iron skillet and then put everything in the oven at 350? Maybe set the thermometer to 145 as well.
Great question and, yes, you would get a great tenderloin that way...maybe turn up the oven temp to 425 until IT 145 as you mention. We're launching a vid in Feb that shows this exact technique!
Doh!....left out the oven temp, preheat to 450F! Full detailed recipe at RedMeatLover.com.
I was just going to ask about temp! 👍

thanks ,for that.I went back an watched it a second time I thought I had just missed it.
Red Meat Lover What was the weight of the pork loin?
For anyone wondering the oven temperature is 450 degrees F or 230 degrees C.
Thank you. I think when people make these videos, they should make it rule number one to say the time and temperature, together ,at least twice.
Lol
I don't know why it put the comment on this video,
Thank you
Thank you, this guy messed up not mentioning that part
Flavor Bomb Pork Rub - Recipe
1.5 TBSP - Onion Powder
1 TBSP - Ground Black Pepper
1.5 TBSP - Garlic Powder
2 TBSP - Kosher Salt
1.5 TBSP - Paprika
1.5 TBSP - Brown Sugar - best to use granulated brown sugar to avoid clumping
.5 TBSP - Chili Powder

Will Try This.
Can’t wait.
Thank You.
Thanks will try
Don’t ever use sugar on meat. That kills people. It creates A. G. E. ‘s. Look it up. Choose BBQ and other sauces that are sugar free !
Should have been in the BLEEPIN video!! 😡 thank you
Thanks Woody Harrelson! This is the best pork tenderloin I’ve ever made! 🔥🔥👍
Lmao 🤣

I thought he was good in kingpin, this performance is phenomenal!!

Lol yes I went back to hear that temp suggestion I wonder if anyone cooked @ 300 for 20 min. and ended up in ER.
I cooked mine at 1600 as you said. And not only did it burn my loin. But my oven quit working. 😪
And go to his link for whatever is in that bottle of spices lol
I'm dying 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
I do this in a cast iron pan. That way you can make gravy with juices. I flip it half way through.
What temp do you heat the oven to?
*I searched up "fiery redhead rub" and did not like the results*
Lmao
I do like the results
Haha
Who doesn't like fiery Redheads? 🔥😍❤🥵🔥

Going to fix this for Christmas dinner. Thanks! Makes it so easy, esp. since the loin I bought came pre-seasoned.
You're going to "fix" it for christmas dinner? Lemme guess. Step 1) Don't buy Michelob Ultra
@@francisrangers6163 I have no idea what this means, and I don't drink, so....
Great video! Great channel for the meat lover, who appreciates the health benefits of meat.
I’m new at cooking. Which setting on the oven do I cook this under, bake or broil? Thank you
Bake

Cooked this and it was awesome🤤❤
This comment may not be read with how old the video is, but where do you get that searing pan? I want one.
Also i like too add a little water in said boiling pan so as it cooks water vapors into the pork keeping it moist also.
What temperature do you set the oven on?
Thank you I appreciate you and your advice
Came to comment section for temperature, and wasn't disappointed.
First time viewer. Great content. Short and to the point. A lot of good info packed in here too. Well done sir
I'm late to the game, but this is a great recipe! Thank you!
A whole pork tenderloin is a large amount of meat. I live alone. If I cut it into smaller sections do I’m use he same temperature and time?
Thanks 🙂
Legend thanks that’s so helpful ❤🥰😘😘
I made this recepie. It turned out good! 😋👌
When cutting off the silver skin have the knife pointing up and away from meat at about 30° and you won't loose meat
Thanks, mate. Have got the pork in the oven as i type this 😆 subscribed 🍻🍻🍻

"About" 145 to 160 degrees?
That's a pretty wide range for pork tenderloin.
I'd keep it closer to 145.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback for our community!
How would you cook a turkey tenderloin in the oven?
You know what would be cool? Telling your audience the oven temp.
Of I don't have a broiling pan I con use a cookie sheet pan with a cooling rack with tin foil under the cooling rack. Is this okay?
Thank you. So simple.
Great video!!!
Looks straight forward.... gonna try it!

good idea about searing, 350 is good, you can GO LOW and SLOW
So easy when we don't have the dry rub?
I've got a small one here...... Might give it a go. I was going to make tacos with it. But this is cool also.
