- We recently made a video comparing many of the different Hasbro and Takara Tomy launchers and you most definitely need an upgrade if you’re still using the Hasbro light launchers! The Cyclone Fury String Launcher in this set is mostly a recolour of the Dual Threat launcher from years ago, but it’s still going to be better than using most ripcord launchers. Although the design of the grip on the launcher has changed slightly, it’s a pretty good improvement in terms of handling. The worst part is that you won’t get any extra power out of this as the Dual Threat launcher. The string length is the same and the gearing feels very similar to the Dual Threat when you actually pull the string. Sooooo….yeah it’s still not great, but huge upgrade if you compare it to light launchers. The dual spin makes it convenient at least.

We need a LONG STRING version of this launcher! We think that the Hasbro fans deserve a great launcher. This set isn't a bad buy overall, but don't expect it to be stellar. The slight redesign makes holding the Cyclone Fury String Launcher easier, but you'll get similar performance to the OG Dual Threat launcher. Nice to see that the Cyclone Roktavor R7 came in the original anime colours at least. What's your thoughts on this product? Will you be picking it up?

Speedstorm was realeased and it was an improvement from Hypersphere, then came Pro and made a homerun, then finally came Quad Drive and knock the ball out of the freaking park.

I always wanted to know why they didn't make more string launchers in Turbo, Rise, and Surge. Anyways glad that the string launchers returned. As what Illunuc said, Rocktavor is so far the best performing bey for QD. Wish the gimmick comes with and the forge disc is heavy though.
It was because when Hasbro made the string launcher people where kinda upset because not wasn't good and they thought it felt cheap so that's why people where using takara Tomy string launcher
But if u bought the pro series u would get the light launcher which I think it is cool if u want that old school feel

Tbh I know they aren’t competitive. But these beys are a step in t right direction after the mess that was rise and surge. We have actual gimmicks back and the beys seem to do pretty well in the stafium

just picked up this set today, and i think it's fantastic. first string launcher i've ever had, so after years of using ripcord launchers, i figured i'd get this mostly for the launcher. Roktavor is a pretty decent bey though, so that's a bonus

It's been so long since Hasbro made a string launcher, so I'm incredibly appreciative about this. Hasbro should definitely make one with a longer ripcord, though. I'm REALLY liking that Roktavor, too! Awesome unboxing and review 👌

@@emjthenerd If it has a few differences, how is it the exact same string launcher as the dual threat? That's like saying the Nintendo Switch is the same as the Nintendo Switch OLED, but the OLED is bigger, a little more durable, and has several better features that boosts its convenience...
The launchers are *similar,* not the same. The slight differences are notable (excluding the aesthetic appearance, too) so "made" is not an incorrect word for me to use. If anything they made slight convenience modifications that make this launcher a little better than the Dual Threat ones despite having the same string length.

I just got into Beyblade again after 20 years, but my first bey I got a few weeks ago was Brave Valtryek V6 and Brave Roktavor R6. I mostly got back into it, because I wanted to recreate the Christmas we had when my Grandmother got us all Beyblades back in 2000 or 2001 or so for my nieces and nephews. So I got a few.... which has went from getting a stadium and 11 other Beyblades and I am about to double that amount in the coming week. And I am getting a second stadium and a dual pack come Christmas that I got myself lol. Safe to say my love for it was reignited lol.

To be honest, you guys need to stop saying that you can get these Hasbro beys as an easier alternative to the harder to get TT beys because they are two completely different beys at this point so people should not be told that if they get one, they essentially have the other and for those who don't understand, they might think that they're the same because you guys are basically saying so. Other than that, great video as always 👍🏾

Here's my idea for a DB Hercules.
It's an Overdrive Bey like Greatest Raphael, the Core, Blade, and Armour, are completely fused together, this Bey features the same ability as Archer Hercules it has two metal bows that extend when spinning fast but when bows go in that's when Hercules goes into Overdrive mode, when bows go in they activate metal burst stoppers like Greatest Raphael does with it's Overdrive mode, this Bey has 5 locks, the parts for it are the Wheel disc from Glide Ragnarok but without the Cuts on the prongs and the driver is Octa from Shadow Orichalchum the name of this Bey is Longbow Hercules.
i also think you should have a quad drive tournament when the season gets more beys

I want to know what Hasbro's deal is with these non metal parts. They have shown they can make about the same level of products as Takara Tomy, as seen with the Metal Fury Hyperblades and others series. I'm wondering if they either don't care, or if it's a money grab, because they've released metal parts after the plastic ones.

Cyclone Roktabor R7 usually win against most of my pro series bey's, unless there is a good attack that bursts him. What attachments can you use on the back of this launcher?

The string launcher is the best part of this set, yet not worth it if you already have something like a TT Dynamite launcher. The Bey itself looks ugly and the fact that this has no wing gimmick, but glide had the gimmick is a step backwards, but I do think the quad drive drivers look interesting to play around with so I will buy some.

then it is normal that I bought it just yesterday and it broke today, the rope always got stuck, I opened it to see what was wrong and I found the rope under the gears, I removed the coil to make it go out but after I put it all back it didn't come back, how can they say that louncher is beautiful omg
@@enacoid491 the previous hasbro Dual spin string launcher had that issue yes. Now it should rewind (not all the way) if you put it back together properly, but the spring comes undone when you take string launchers apart so you have to have it put together properly. Also the string won't go all the way back in, just mostly, and will hang a little out.

I bought the demise hyperion set for its cool light up effect but it was trash. One of the worst beys in my collection.
I thought that this set was going to be trash too because of the horrible experience with demise hyperion. I was so wrong. In terms of hasbro beys go (excluding pro series) cyclone roktavor is one of my best beys.
Just a couple of days or a few weeks before buying this set I bought the magma ifritor and belfyre set witg the quad drive stadium and belfyre was pretty good. It was definitely one of the best hasbro beys (excluding pro series). But wow, cyclone roktavor killed it. I don't know why cyclone roktavor is so good, but it just is! I think it might have to do with the energy layer being a flat wall like pro series soul balkesh but the wide forge disc allows it to have high spin power and some extra stamina. It is definitely one of the best hasbro beys excluding the pro series.

The quad drive string launcher in this video isn’t very good. At all. I bought it once because it was my first string launcher and. It broke after like 10 launches or smth. I got another one after like probably a month and it broke AGAIN. Goes to show how trash it is, would not recommend.
Can you try to combine burst pro series and quad drive and try to make as much metal as you can
