Everytime I tune into your channel, I learn something new and
Interesting as you explain what's at hand. I'm in the process of setting up my lathe and getting in to it. Wife was really sick with cancer and is doing better now. Very good work great platter. Butternut wood is not my favorite but you make it very desirable. My favorite American wood is walnut There are many beautiful woods but my favorite is walnut. Just me and my likes. Keep up the great wood turning and smile more.

Laguna makes an attachment to mount on the tail stock end of your lathe to allow turning larger items. Cheaper than a new lathe

That’s a love piece of wood and great turning skill - I’ve made a few items that size but find them really hard to sell - the usual reaction is “very nice but I’ve no room for something that big” - maybe we need bigger houses in UK.
