Chole Bature

  • INGRIDIENTS :
    BATURE -
    1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
    ¾ cup rava
    1 tsp oil
    ½ cup curd
    ½ tsp salt
    ½ tsp sugar
    Pinch of soda
    CHOLE -
    5 tbsp oil
    1 tsp cumin seed
    2 bay leaf
    2 onions chopped (big)
    5 green chillies slitted
    4 chopped tomatoes
    1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    1 chopped capsicum
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    1 tsp coriander powder
    ½tsp turmeric powder
    2 tbsp Chole masala (everest )
    Kabul chana (soaked overnight and boiled ). 250 gram
    PREPARATION :
    knead the Bature ingridients well. Add water if required, make a soft dough and grease in oil and rest it for half hour atleast.
    Boil the chana or a whistle in cooker is enough.
    *In a kadai add oil, bay leaf and cumin, saute for a minute.
    Add onion and green chillies and fry for few mins and then add salt as per your taste.
    *Add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and capsicum and cook for few mins.
    *Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric and Chole masala and saute for few seconds.
    Add chana along with water and cook for few mins. Add water if required.
    Garnish with chopped coriander and butter.
    Serves 4.
