Exactly. This is an issue in many police stations where police cars will park at bus stops. Give the cops a ticket.
That’s real, It looks like the traffic lows aren’t to be respected by cops.
Income tax, property tax, commuter tax, gas tax, motor oil tax, red light camera tax, speed zone tax, congestion pricing tax and bus lane tax. All used to subsidize a failed system with revolving door leadership.
While fare beaters walk through the gate and the MTA lowers the fine.

Great to know. Too many drivers are getting away with parking at bus stops. They do it all the time at bus stop and the police rarely, if ever, ticket the drivers or make them move.
Hopefully it’s made clear that Bus Operators don’t control ACE operation, or they’ll need to watch for road raged motorists along with unstable passengers on their routes.
Actually we do already. We have a DVR Button that was initially made for us when traveling in the Bus Lane now we can use it for both bus stops occupied and bus lanes.

Drivers must stay out of the bus lanes and Busways or else he or she will get a fined.

For this very reason, curbside bus lanes are usually not in effect all day, and the rest of the time they are commercial loading zones.

What’s the point of installing all them cameras with our taxpayers money, Because most of the time bus drivers don’t pull to the curb to pick up passengers. Instead they stop in the middle of the road to pick up passengers and have cars waiting behind them. Something have to be done with that.

why does it even matter, more than half the buses doesnt even pull to the curb where the bus stop is at to pick up and drop of pass. they just stay in the lane even if no one is blocking it. they should be the one getting the ticket cause they are blocking a lane of traffic.

As an Operator out of Manhattan I can tell you the rule. If you are in a bus lane and are with in the space where the dashed lines to enter the bus lane to make a right turn you will not get a ticket. If you are doubled parked, or driving in the bus lane for more than 30ft with or with or without your indicator on you will receive a bus lane violation ticket, and now you will also receive one if your are parked, double parked, or blocking a bus stop. Hope that helps. I actually have the official NYCT memorandum if you’d like to see it.

How about you ask how difficult the city had made it for truck drivers to do their job. How they have squeezed big aves from 4 lanes down to 2 and have bumped parking spots to the middle of the streets and have taken legit parking spots to either house citi bike or outdoor dinning. Haven't made any truck offloading more available so the restaurants and businesses can get their deliveries.
