It never ran hot👀 but i also never checked my intake airtemps, And i did find that with the stock intake the car didnt pop as much on decel as it did with the cold air intake, that intake did have a heatshield from the engine it was just painted black, and also left the stock airRam which funnels cold air from the kidney grills to the intake
@@challengeshd3737 yes of coarse, it doesn't have catalytic converters anymore and the o2 sensors are what detects that, the code will say catalytic converter improper
@@challengeshd3737 if your state does emissions testing its illegal to remove the cats and have someone program out the code. I never found anyone close by that would tune it out I only know someone that you would have to ship your ecu to

Ik it’s been a while but did you have any codes or issues after installing the headers?
Yeah it gets a code for cats but can be programmed out if you know a tuner and have all 4 o2 sensors in the headers and plugged in
