Rahul Narwar parents separated early doesn't mean he raised on his own... Secondly he got chance to work on advertisement as a child artist, got aankho me Tera hi chehra at the age of 16. It's not possible for a teen boy to manage it on his own without having contacts and Pankaj Kapoor and Mrs Nileema Azim name. I personally know lot of artists in Mumbai who took admission in acting schools or have gone there after theaters they fail to get a single chance anywhere. My point is he may not have got people ready to launch him like Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor but he has better chances than a complete outsider. In my opinion there are very few nepotism free self made artists in Bollywood most of the guys you see even Ranveer Singh, Siddhartha Malhotra etc has good contacts in Industry. Very few guys are self made like Sushant, Nawazuddin, Irrfan Khan etc And lastly, his very own brother Ishan khattar is getting opportunities easily because of Shahid and his mom.

Rahul Narwar in a closed inaccessible Industry like bollywood its important to bit change our definition of Nepotism. If someone is launched by dad or get signed up by closed friends and big banner at the very initial phase of his/her career is a nepotism than someone who gets chances based on his contacts not albeit by big banners but medium A grade Banners as compared to a more talented outsider who is struggling for same or getting B grade offers, this is also some kinda nepotism.

Sudhangshu Das For you kind info. Let me tell you in Mausam, Teri meli kahaani his acting was appreciated but I know these were not that much good but not as bad as people think of it. Portraying three different roles in a single movie is not everyone's cup of tea. & PPNH & rajkumar were entertaining films. His fan following increased from these films even I became fan from PPNH & I don't think there would be any actor who have never done these type of films. & if we talk about shaandaar then it's the only film which was even disliked by shanatics. But his acting was always on top even in this film.(if you don't believe you can check the critics reviews)

Shahid was talking about Sanjay Leela Bhansali when he spoke abt directors he felt cheated by.....in padmaavat Shahid played the king, the good guy, but SLB gave more screen time and more focus to Khilji, the villain, hell Shahid wasn't even called fr the promotions of the movie....the movie OPENS with Khilji and maharawal Ratan Singh didn't even get a proper intro scene in the movie
imagine the director himself going out of his way to uplift the villain and give him the second highest screen time, succeeded by only the title character, Padmavati
