How nice of Pretzel to bring attention to such a small indie game as Grand Theft Auto V. Snark aside, my "weird hidden detail" experience I had with this game back in the ps3 version was walking in a Shopping street near one of the hospitals/train/bus terminal (the one where you control Chop in a mission). Each shop has those advertisings on the awnings with phone numbers you can actually call (in-game) and get different responses to. One of them has a nice elevator music that got me entertained for a few minutes.

The reason that Sandy Shores is so dilapidated is that it resembles the Salton Sea area of SoCal. Check out some of the stories about the rise and fall of the Salton Sea as a resort area.
You actually can enter the lobby when normally completing the mission, when you leave the lifeinvader office you can exit through the lobby and the receptionist will even buzz you out. I've always done this in my playthroughs because its a quicker exit from the stairs than the back exit.

In Michael's bathroom, there is a toothpaste with the brand "CJ's Toothpaste" likely just an easter egg to GTA SA, but the lore implications of this indicates that CJ started a Toothpaste brand
Another interesting spot downtown is the hospital that opens for one side mission as Trevor, it's only a few rooms and the location stays open for a very short period of time, still fun to explore
Salt and Sauce is a reference to Edinburgh, where Rockstar is based. Unlike the rest of the UK, where “salt and vinegar” is the default for your fish and chips, in Edinburgh you’ll be asked if you want “salt and sauce”. The sauce is like a mix of HP brown sauce and vinegar. Obviously in the UK we have salt and vinegar as crisp flavours, but not salt and sauce, so the inclusion in the vending machine is obviously a little nod to the local delicacy.
Pretty crazy that we're less than a week away from seeing GTA 6 after 10 long years. Can't wait to see how much detail they packed into it compared to GTA 5, hopefully another huge leap for open world titles.
The thing I can't get over is that while this game came out in 2013, it was designed to be able to run on systems which came out in the mid 2000's. The fact that it's as good as it is despite that speaks to how talented Rockstar is.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the weird architecture of Michael's house. There are windows on the front of the house, just right of the front door, but inside, there aren't? There should be windows where the books are in the living room. There's actually almsot enough room for another whole room between the windows and the booksshelf, but there's no door?
I had thought about including that section of the map, but decided to really focus on the urban vs rural areas. Both the bottom and upper half of the city kinda fit that "urban streets" vibe compared to the desolate and spread out Blaine county. Now that you bring it up though, I feel bad leaving Franklin and his side of the map out of it😭 It does have a vibe that the area around Michael's house and Trevor's house don't. If I make another video on the game, I'll give him justice.

In Michael's bathroom, there is a toothpaste with the brand "CJ's Toothpaste" likely just an easter egg to GTA SA, but the lore implications of this indicates that CJ started a Toothpaste brand
My favorite place you never go to in the story at all is the full college campus that’s in the north west of Los Santos.
if you notice at 7:44 you can see sparks coming out of the chair, which obviously I don't think is intended LOL
I love the thumbnail and this video!!😂 ❤
As someone who lives in the middle of the Oregon desert, I can confirm we live off only Donuts, Tuna, and Mayonnaise
Glad we have a first hand confirmation on that. Thank you for the on-the-ground reporting 🫡
Rockstar has had a suprising amount of experience with LA
• LA Noir is in LA (duh)
• Midnight Club: LA (is also duh)
Another interesting spot downtown is the hospital that opens for one side mission as Trevor, it's only a few rooms and the location stays open for a very short period of time, still fun to explore
Not sure how many ppl have asked (or havent), but i'd love to see one of these vids of Night City, Cyberpunk 2077! Love ur style of content
"My daily routine. Wake up, be awesome, go to bed." Truly, words to live by
Salt and Sauce is a reference to Edinburgh, where Rockstar is based.
Saul Tyres being another one on the gas station, with a a Scottish “saltire” flag behind it.
Pretty crazy that we're less than a week away from seeing GTA 6 after 10 long years.
Can't wait to see how much detail they packed into it compared to GTA 5, hopefully another huge leap for open world titles.
I used to do copious amounts of psychedelics and just walk around LS in first person all night. You would be amazed how easily it feels real
That was a great video!
I would love to see you cover the other gta games
The thing I can't get over is that while this game came out in 2013, it was designed to be able to run on systems which came out in the mid 2000's. The fact that it's as good as it is despite that speaks to how talented Rockstar is.

The "salt and sauce" chips are a nice little reference to Edinburgh where Rockstar are HQ'd :)
I actually did a lot of wandering around on foot in GTAV:O, there's something quite enjoyable to doing that.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the weird architecture of Michael's house. There are windows on the front of the house, just right of the front door, but inside, there aren't? There should be windows where the books are in the living room. There's actually almsot enough room for another whole room between the windows and the booksshelf, but there's no door?
such a cozy video, loved it!!!!
It’d be really interesting seeing how you’d react to gta 4 the density of that game for a 2008 game
Kirby air ride music at the end lol
You avoided Franklin's house and all the urban low income areas.
They were teasing vice city since a long time!
The bank reminds me of the one in John Carpenter's "They Live" where the famous line, "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass..."
🤔 Now that you mention that, I kinda see it.
Great video! Is there a chance of doing Blue Shift and Half Life 2 + Ep1/2?
I love this stuff !!
About fucking TIME
How would "About" fuck Time itself...?
I do wanna see one of these for cyberpunk 2077’s night city! If not the whole city, at least a district
