- The Swart Atomic Space Tone is a tweed inspired 20ish watt 6V6 powered 1x12 combo amp with beautiful reverb and tremolo. Demonstrated in this video with a Collings I-35 semi-hollow guitar, a Suhr Classic T guitar, and a Nash S-57 guitar. All available at Austin Guitar House!

I was just playing mine with my Collings SoCo. Beautiful, lush. I’ve hooked it up with a Waza Tube Expander and now can use the TE effects loop to bring in my delays. Crystal clear.

Do you have Swart AST or AST Pro or have you played them? I am toying with the idea of an AST Pro as a grab n go.
@@gair1944 Hey Gary. I don’t own a Swart, but I did play an AST. I couldn’t believe how big and rich it sounded for a small box. Don’t think you can go wrong with Swart.
@@gair1944 I’ve played a couple of Swart AST and they are pretty sweet. One of my favorite amps ever. Really great for mild breakup tones.
This amp is way underrated and sounds fantastic!
It is actually OVERATED..at 2500$ you can have way better boutique amp.

Great demo Ray! Always tasty and you really capture real world sounds. I’m endlessly curious about comparing the AST to the Carr Telstar.
Wow. Sounds sensational. I think I preferred it with Single Coils. The Strat was particularly impressive. How does the AST Pro compare? I realize its just a little larger. I might value a little more open sound Although this sounded great! Love your playing too!
It's not a huge difference , but that can also depend on speaker selection. The slightly larger cabinet of the pro retracts the knobs so they dont get knocked off on the road and the external speaker jack is added so you can run it like a head or with a extension cabs .
It’s closest thing Ive come to a religious experience every time I plug in to my swart ast, beautiful tones on demo here too, well done! A very refined bass filtered tweedy deluxe. I think the pro offers more flexibility. The size of standard is great, but can get tricky with large alnico magnet speakers. I ran a alnico gold for years, but eventually went to g12 30h anni, gold is still available in a 2x12 cab.
