This is an excellent video! Thanks for putting it together - I shared it in the TE discord as there were a few people asking after I shared your original video

Trying to walk through this... if I connect my Roli to my Mac over USB, I can see it in Roli dashboard and control the settings. However while it's plugged in I don't get a pair option in my OP-XY. If I unplug it, I can pair on the XY, but it seems to have forgotten all the settings I put in in Roli Dashboard, and the mod wheel doesn't work. How exactly are you doing this part?

As far as I know the settings you make in ROLI Dashboard should be saved to the lightpad. You can also connect the lightpad with USB-C, if that makes any difference. Also try to see if there's any updates available for you Lightpad.
So in dashboard the settings are
      MIDI mode: Single channel
      Midi channel: 1
      Pitch bend range: 12
      Slide CC: 1
      Slide mode: Relative unipolar
On the OP-XY When paired/connected to lightpad:
      In devices menu:
      notes: in/both
      velocity: on
      System menu, Midi:
      notes: in/both
      active track ch.: 1
It should work if you have all these settings.
Slide/modwheel is set in the instrument settings under mod, choose which parameter you want the slide to modulate by setting it on modwheel target then adjust modwheel amount to your liking.
      Hope it works for you!
