Car SOS might have started in 2013, but the show looks like something that started way more recently. Like 2020.
In any case, Car SOS is certainly one of the best cars shows out now. First off, it's got great restorations, which is why people watch the show.
Secondly, it's not boring. Now, a lot of you might expect car shows to be unendingly drab, have the most basic dialogue and have just amazing cars. And maybe - just maybe - have a few tables and chairs thrown about.
But that's certainly not Car SOS. The show's presenters have got an amazing sense of humour, good clothes - that do not look like they fell out of the sky in the 80s, and the cars they restore aren't your basic classic cars.
For example, the show has currently gone through 10 seasons, and in that time its presenters has restored over a hundred classic cars. Some of these classic cars include a 1984 Audi Quattro, a 1965 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Pagoda, an Aston Martin DB6, and even an iconic Volvo P1800.
However, If you're a fan of the automotive industry, which you probably are if you've gotten to this point in our video, you'd know that there are many cars shows about and Car SOS, for all its virtue, is just one of those shows.
This means that the showrunners must be extra careful about news about the show and the cast, how to manage the news when it falls, and what the pushback is supposed to be.
This is especially important when the show is keeping extremely dark secrets that may just threaten to blow the entire operation sky high.

I watch a lot of car redesign and renovation series, but I have become really addicted to this series, and these two guys. They are extremely talented, and very entertaining. Because the owners of the cars do not know what is being done, the end of every show is very emotional and gets to me every time. I wish I had my first two cars (old Fiat Spider and a 1969 Charger) back again and able to be restored. Great show.
Best car show ever. I was actully fortunate enough to be able to help hand back one of the cars. What these guys do for people is amazing. If people dont know about this show they need to get onit. 😁

S8 episode 1, 1964 Porsche 356, me, my miss and my son went to lea valley cycling center in stratford for the recording of it. Was a brilliant day and great to be apart of it. I was holding the edge of markeet to reveal the car. 😁

I have be honoured enough to have talked to these boys and I respect them both they are genuinely nice in real life it’s not just a telly thing Tim gets a bad rap but that lads hart is massive he doesn’t deserve the crap he gets

I like Fuzz and Tim. They make a great team. Very talented persons and make the show interesting with all their antics. There is empathy with the medical conditions of the car owners. One can easily note how much effort they put into these cars, some almost ancient relics which should have gone to recycling a long time ago. This is a wonderful and entertaining show. May it continue for many years to come. Forget all their hilarious jokes and focus on the great work they do.

Does anybody, anywhere believe that a Tim Shaw’s unfunny “scams” actually are for real, considering that there is a film camera following his exploits? It does nothing to enhance the enjoyment of the programme.
That is a matter of opinion tho isn't it, to me he represents someone most of us know, someone who pops round, helps out, talks alot and mucks about alot, even if you don't appreciate the comedic value you have to admire and respect his passion and work, the way he unveils the cars to the owners and you can even see him tear up on a few episodes like the Nissan skyline for example.. he's a good bloke and I think they're a great duo. If I could I'd love to see Edd China join the show creating possibly the best trio on a motor restoration show.

I conatacted them so many times about my uncle who had a serious car accident the worst every recorded and he was left disabled and committed suicide after 2 years of not being able to come to terms with his disabillity. His car was a Mk1 Ford RS Turbo. It still lies in the garage to date. It needs some TLC. Tehy never answered my call to help him.

Sadly they receive thousands of applications and they don't make the final decision, that is down to the programs director. My advice would be to save this beautiful car, contact Ford collectors groups and you'll find they'll be lots of people interested in coming out and advising you on what the car needs and maybe even best places to go. Don't let it rott away

Love the show and the presenters. But what a long video to find out absolutely nothing !!
This show simply conforms the immaturity of British men with their childish pranks. The mechanic guy is worth watching, but that the tall one, what is a disaster. And never use an American narrator for a British show. There's so much background detail that Americans simply can't grasp.
