Jesus is the only hope to this land!! Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” And later it’s written in the Bible, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…” The Lord Jesus.
🙏🏼😊~If there is nothing more that I truly want heaven to be when I get there; I want it to be just the way it is written in this song, but I truly know it will be better than even that
This is a really beautiful hymn. A land that we will never grow old. Thank you Elliott for a good piece right there. I always desire to sing these hymns with you every single time I hear you sing. It is my desire and I pray it comes to pass. I will sing bass for you just so that God's heart melts away in joy. 😊😊😊😊
Many thanks Bro. Elliot ..For giving us the permission to use these songs in our online Sunday Worship here in Church of Christ - SGMA, Philippines..God bless you ...
I'm learning the violin and am finding these songs wonderful to play along with and to learn harmonies. Each and everyone is a wonderful gem. I would like to repeat this comment in every single one of these songs! Thank you for all the effort to do these videos. Thank you
Yes, the keys got me at first, but they have taught me a lot. D and G (and A) are often the preferred keys for the violin, and they allow the easy use of open strings (GDAE) but some more advanced players prefer to keep away form those open notes. The keys of Eb, Ab, and Db will force a player away from the open strings. An open string will have a different tone from a stopped string and it can't have finger vibrato - not that I am quite there with vibrato yet, but these tunes are great for learning that technique. So, I have learnt to enjoy those keys, and all the songs, many of which are new to me, but somehow I feel I know them already (?) Also, playing in a heavily flatted key makes me LISTEN to what I am trying to play rather than 'just' reading the notes. Playing along with harmony is good for that. I can't emphasize enough how helpful these videos have been. Once again sir - thank you!
We do a lot of congregational singing at my church and many of the songs here are ones we do. These are a huge resource for song leaders especially because you do them note for note. Awesome work. Please keep it up. I know it's not easy. But these old songs are a part of many church traditions and it's great that you are preserving and spreading them in this way.
If you bought a hymnal or two, you'd have nearly every song I record here. I often use Praise for the Lord, Songs for Worship and Praise, and a couple of others. If you don't prefer to get a hymnal, you can go to Hymnary.org to find the song you're looking for. They have page scans of numerous hymns, often dating back more than 100 years. And it's free!
@@barryleonard2666 Ah, okay! Yeah, I don't do special arrangements on this channel - on purpose. I want folks to be able to hear and sing them just like they would at a church gathering. Sometimes hymnal arrangements will vary. But these should be very close to, or exactly the same as, the ones you have. Depending on which hymnal set you've got. ( :

I think the tempo is a little bit odd, maybe you could've haste it up a bit?
The tempo is the song leaders prerogative
The tempo is perfect- some hymns are supposed to be sang slower/ Brenda
Yeah, my fault. I'm just used to singing this in a faster tempo.
Waw ilove the what am hearing
