Watching these two fight is always a pleasure, especially for the IRI side. His front leg is so adapted at cancelling and negating his opponent that even though the majority of the fighters on the world stage are taller than him, he is constantly on the medal stand. Imagine fencing, and everyone else's saber/rapier is longer than yours, yet you're so crafty and agile that even with the electronic system you're still able to score points and win games. There are so many ways that IRI is using his front leg to both negate KOR and to score points even with the height disadvantage. There are subtle nuances in both distance and targeting, just like fencing has technique that's not just swinging your rapier at the opponent. Jang Joon seems like he's the only one able to top this guy because of his dynamic left leg in the clinch and because the use of his front hand to negate IRI's front leg. Besides those few points, the game was pretty close. Anyway, just my 2cents.
@@thomasnguyen5295 taekwondo is primarily a kicking sport. Hands can only punch to the body, no face punches, no take downs, no grabbing, no strikes below the waist
I agree he comes in more often than normal, though in Seingalani's case, I think its in his favor because Jang Joon's inside game is crazy good for his height.
Why does he scream like a girl? Also I thought it was a full-contact sport? They tap so lightly and are awarded points.. Bring back the old style please.

@@heliophiliastudios7702 front kick, front kick, front kick... boring... I know atlethes have to adapt strategies to electronic system but that fact is killing Taekwondo sparring... I doubt nobody that is out of Taekwondo is going to enjoy this way to fight

Why is this mostly kicking? is this a think with Taekwondo? are they not allowed to use their hands?

@@KrisTheCoach thank you for the reply... Just odd seeing the hands not up protecting the body or face. Much respect for this sport
@@thomasnguyen5295 my pleasure dude. And yeah the sport is weird like that. Interesting to see what people can do though given those rules
This is why I take Karare instead of Taekwondo, there so many rules and pause when fighting in tournament, and I found Karate more fun ..
Front leg, front leg, front leg, no more spin back kick, a.k.a dragon tail kick, no more double roundhouse kick, no more jumping back kick
Why the referee is intervening so often. It is really annoying.
Yep, the best referees are the one you don't notice, this guy is really trying hard to get camera time.

It's a new rule, you can only be in clinch for 2 seconds. Thanks to Bianca.
11:45 sorry bro
10:00......... ??????????? WHAT IS DOING he ?
LINKYRO right? The guy (IRI side) probably got so frustrated that he started fighting like a girl😂
he was going off because he was off balance and that meant the guy in blue would be able to get a head shot or body shot easily being 3 or 2 points

Best fight i have ever seen
Que triste una final donde solamente utilizan la misma pierna, donde no se ve nada, ni siquiera un cambio de guardia.
Llegas a cambiar la guardia al azar con uno de esos dos y te comes una patada en toda la jeta
Both of them are too powerful and strong..
But oh my gosh why the refree judge like that? He does't let them to fight..!😅😆
Is referee allowed to push the player around like that?
Yes
Jang got away with A LOT of grabbing and holding...
Thats what i was thinking
I love you
Playing well

Can't stand to watch all that freee points to korea it's bizarre......
Lost to the Tunisian in the Olympics quarter finals
Tunisian lost to the Italy
❤️🇰🇷
O Taekwondo está um vergonha não tem intensidade igual antes não tem mais aquele pensamento de estrala o oponente

This isnt even taekwondo anymore
It's not like taekwondo it's like playing kick. Dispointed
Pinche pelea toda culera parecen muñecos de trapo los dos. Tendran rapidez pero nada de fuerza.
En esto se convirtió el taekwondo amigo
