OMGosh, The fern was beautiful. I was sad you didn't get the Halloween cat, it looked vintage. That zucchini was huge. I've never heard of that baked good, hope the corn is yummy. TFS ☮️💜
Hello Renee. I’ll pass on the beets NOPE. I know lots of people enjoy them but my mom would make me eat them and they made me sick . Yes I had to eat every bit of food and let me tell you I hate a lot of vegetables now. Some of those dolls were nice , i felt like they all needed a home with me. I like ferns but I’m not paying the prices they want for them here $25.00, $30.00, that’s not in my budget at all. Ferns are pretty though. I hope you have a great week. Take care. 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🫎🫎🫎🫖☕️🫖☕️🫖☕️🫎🫎🫎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 I almost forgot congratulations on 82,000 subscribers Renee. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your fern will !one lots of water and misting. It is beautiful! We had an indoor fern that grew to 4 times that size. It was named H Geraldine after one of my sisters. We split it several times as we had it about 20 years. Its so hot here in Spokane. I'm just glad to be inside in the air conditioning. Corn looks good.. Nice paper haul. Stay cool
4 times that size?? Wow! I’ll have to read up about splitting & repotting. Hopefully this fern makes it through the summer & then it will be my indoor fern once the weather turns!
The fern is beautiful. $15 is a great price. The hanging ferns at the garden center I shop at are $35. I would not have had any self-control in the produce section. The beets & cabbage looked amazing.
@@PaperandMoose I think the last fern I had called me a murderer on the way to the compost bin.😃 After watching your video, I headed to my favorite farm stand in search of beets. Try beets on pizza with fresh mozzarella & basil. Beets deserve some love.
Ah...looks like you are getting the itch once again...best of looking/buying luck! I see one item I have...that golden album of Glenn Miller Hits...in like new condition...from a long ago estate sale...a time when these sales were GREAT...like a trip back into decades past! $15??? why, I recently cleared out a patch of these same ferns from one of my side alleys, as they were overgrowing the plants I keep! I don't mind the blur...as it just reminds me to put on my specks! Wish me luck and good tidings in my visit to G.W. and Sal. Army stores, tomorrow after my church senior group movie day...the movie is appropriate..."Oh, God"...starring the late George Burns...have never seen it...we shall see! Those freebies you got are interesting.
A few viewers have commented that their yard is filled with ferns - so lucky! Speaking of luck, hope that your trip to the thrift is a great one! Keep me updated if you find anything good!
@@PaperandMoose Well...I did not go to the senior group movie or the stores, as I attended a funeral service for one of the elderly Masonic Brothers who passed away last week. I was part of the ceremony. I knew the fellow...a very nice man. R.I.P!
What a lush and healthy looking fern! The vegetables that you chose were looking great, too. The box with little labels helping to manage the resupply in a store (and something with watches?) seems to be a rare find. It could be the only set of such items preserved. Probably today all this is done via computer. Hoping you sold a lot and wishing you a wonderful week with great finds and great sales, Gabriele (Berlin, Germany - not a native speaker, please forgive my imperfect English)
That is a very healthy looking fern, very bushy! We use to have a hanging basket of some sort, likely a flower, hanging on our steps. But that was only until it got hit by to many heads 😣😣. Sweet corn here is a month off yet I'd guess. My sister-in-law has an acre and sell it at a booth on my yard, so not a very long jont to get some, when it's ready. The corn south of London is likely ready soon. Enjoy! 👍🌽🌽👍
Ferns at the flea market,I have them growing wild in my back yard. 😂. Always a pleasure to watch you dig through the boxes. Doll parts and you found Jesus too.
Ferns appeared on our front porch a week or two ago. Hanging. The porch is covered so whenever it rains (not often, lately), my wife runs out to put them in the rain. Looked like Valley of the Dolls there in the beginning - though some of them looked like they'd belonged to the next door neighbor kid in Toy Story.. How will you refurb the tree topper? Add hair only or is there more? Maybe a new dress of wallpaper? The photo at ~4:10 was great. I couldn't make out the sign - but it looks like the photographer caught a kid in mid-air jumping off the steps. Maybe after Church some Sunday? Misprints seem to be a theme lately - magazine covers, now the barn signs. Wonder if they will appreciate? Ha. You guys looked like you were taking a Tote Man approach to selling . . . well . . . he is very successful. Enjoy the food and the sunshine - the heat won't last forever - hope you have a fabulous Monday afternoon and magic & wonder await in the coming days. Thanks for the video!
so glad i found you it is nice to find someone that likes the stuff i do those dolls in the box called the world dolls where a giveaway at the Mobil gas station in the 1970s love to have those
Renee, I've been curious about your academic background (BA/BS/MA/MS) since you have such an affinity for ephemera with historical implications. I am missing so many sales since our temps have been horrifically high in the 90s (tomorrow supposed to be 98!). Happy hunting and researching!
I absolutely love ferns. In my hometown/island on the west coast of Canada theferns grow wild and are also cultivated in gardens. Seeing them always reminds me of home (Vancouver Island, BC)
I always had good luck with ferns when i hung them up. They like morning sun. Used to water mine with a garden hose ( on fine spray) and then use the hose for the inside-- did this daily in the summer.
Is this the Fern and Onion show? No. Just a brief stroll, a brief interlude. The selling seemed to go well. Much footfall at the table - Hard work, but as Milt says “ The first 1,000,000 is the hardest…….” ( Glad you got your lovely Fern)
In honor of the fantastic fern Miss Moose bought today, here are some jokes!😊 Why did the fern become a comedian? Because it had a fernny bone! 🤣 What’s a fern’s favorite song? “Fernando” by ABBA 😂 What is a fern’s favorite author ? Fernest Hemingway. 😁

If you have the time you should check out the Milton Hershey school. They give free tours (and you get a candy bar 😉) It’s state of the art. Just went there. It’s free and they share some really nice information about the school. I didn’t realize what an amazing man he was.

Speaking of the Hersheys, him and his wife had tickets to go on the Titanic, I forget why they didn’t end up going. But you probably already knew about that.
Are you kidding me, you bought some FERNS for fifteen bucks each at the flea market ?! 😏They are growing wild in some parts of my yard, so just get here and take them with you for free. And don´t forget that they like shadow, humidity, mulch and water, so it might be a little bit tricky to cultivate them in hanging baskets. By the way: what happened to your tomato plant ? 🧐 🍅I like the assortment of Hershey literature ("The Man Behind the Bar") which would be a good source for a "History Behind the Paper" vid. And of course the local vegetable market. Red beets is not everyones cup of tea, but extremely healthy (a blood cleaner). Have a great rest of this sunny Monday, and see you on the next one ! 🖐Greets from GER, U.
We have the humidity covered here, that’s for sure! Another week of hot & humid with some rain in the forecast. The tomato plant is going strong! I get a few little cherry tomatoes off of it every so many days & Taco Stacks also has a plant in his garden. I love, love red beets! We missed buying them this year to plant, but hopefully next year. The greens of beets are yummy too, sauté them up & a nice little side dish! I would say that red beets are probably one of my favorite vegetables. Back to my usual flea market this upcoming weekend, depending on the weather. With the heat & the holiday the last two Sundays have been a bust there, plus the Tote Man was away so the shopping would have been non-existent for me. Let’s hope the heat can’t hold the Tote Man down & he’ll be back this Sunday & we can do some digging!
What are we partying for? It's Monday so there should be a damn good reason to find the party soda and the stuff we pour into it to dull the sweet taste? And I need to visit Hershey, they claim the fall meeting is the world’s largest old car swap meet so there's that. All kinds of fun junk I don't need but need to have. Although it will be excruciatingly expensive to transport it home from such a remote location.
Sorry, had to give a thumbs down. The blur is very annoying, and it is not needed. Only if children get filmed should you blur them out. Not adult men!

The person that the stand belonged to wasn’t around, so you had to come back later to get a price for things.
