It’s about time someone made a video about him! He’s absolutely brilliant. People just don’t know. Thanks for honoring such a force of nature.

One thing that people REALLY don't realize is how young Zac was. His creativity was and still is just... *chef's kiss*

I've noticed overtime that my favourite Paramore songs are mostly non-single, like Turn It Off, Let the flames begin, Last Hope, I Caught Myself, ... And i was listening to Brand New Eyes the other day and noticed that when i was a teenager, i never realised how much of a great drummer Zac was. And he was only 19 when that album came out

He's definitely underrated, he's not getting much appreciation mostly by drummers. Dude plays fills that perfectly fits the groove on live, and even if he do fills again and again it doesn't sound redundant. Most underrated groovy drummer

Since the Riot! album, yeeears ago, I too noticed the drums stand out, most definitely. Also, the sound of the cymbals were something fresh, and still are.

Fantastic breakdown. Zac Farro is one of my favorite drummers too and the greatness of the "That's What You Get" drum part never dawned on me until my high school drummer tried winging it and was surprised that he couldn't. Would love to see you do a video on Dave Grohl's drumming!

The incredible thing for me about Zac is that he recorded Riot while he was 16 years old, and Brand new eyes while he was 19. So Misery Business drum track which is crazy dynamic and syncopated was invented and recorded by 16 year old kid

Brand new eyes is drumming gold and has changed my style so much.

i always noticed the drums on I Caught Myself to be so odd. Like i seriously could not guess what he was going to do next especially near the little guitar break. it just made the song 40x more unique

Oh yeah I totally forgot about that song, definitely a creative outside-the-box drum groove that totally fits the song

Turn It Off is one of my favorite Paramore songs. Definitely one of their most underrated. Glad to see someone else show it the love it deserves.

Dude yes! For years I’ve heard his playing and the way he switches things up and the difficulty of his patterns is insane! Super underrated drummer. I agree w everything you’re saying.

There is no change in time signature. The song is 4/4 throughout. He does change to a “half time feel”, accent on 3 in the slower segment (like a reggae beat). He does the transition very well by keeping a similar groove on the bass drum. I agree, excellent drummer with lots of cool fills that make his drumming and the songs exciting 👍🏼

All you have to do is watch the Riot Live DVD and you will realize just how musical and tasteful Zac's drumming really is. There's no wonder why drumming legends and veterans like Todd Sucherman of Styx cite Zac as one of their favorite drummers in recent history.. Check out the bridge section of 'Let The Flames Begin' from Riot Live and you'll get an idea of the creative liberties he usually takes to bring the songs to another level. 🤘

ive noticed in thats what you get that counting the verse in 2/4 instead of 3/4 makes it easier so long as you count the unison section before the chorus in 3/4 that makes it alot easier to count and play zacs a genius

Zac's drumming style is the perfrect fit for Foo Fighters style if ever they were looking for someone to carry on from the late great Taylor.

I took for granted that everyone heard what I heard when that album came out. A drummer had not made that type impact on me since Tre Cool when Dookie hit. Its just simple little things all in the exact right spots that fit the song. They are perfect-not one single hit/tone/rest or anything else can be changed, they are perfect.

yeah but the whole band is genuinely talented. They're not playing basic, straightforward 4/4 songs
