Moon light night spirit has a good ring to it lol I think this is the nicest katana I've ever seen. Totally my style, I absolutely love it. The Saya is gorgeous, I love the magic paint. Every thing about it is just perfect for me. I wish I had how ever much money you want for it... beautiful sword Matt thanks for sharing! 🤘💀
The man from the shadows strikes again...very much love it, obviously....you are probably the only other person I ever heard speak of the Turbo graphics 16...😅😅😅I had them all.
I bought a Tanto from SamuraiSword store out of China a few years before I found your channel. Do you have any thoughts or reviews on their swords? I love your channel. Moon Light Spirit. Thank you.
This sword is absolutely beautiful, im a fan of the details on its saya specifically. However theres something i noticed; Western made katana and asian reproduction katanas too rarely have the sillhouette of a nihonto. Its quite hard to pinpoint why, however i believe theyre too "straight". Most nihonto have a slight curvature in tsuka and saya which most reproductions fail to capture. While some nihonto have straight tsuka, the majority of them does not, instead sporting an ever so slight curvature. Same with the saya. On historical examples you'd see the saya narrowing down slightly towards the kojiri. Lastly the sori on nihonto is quite pronounced where blade meets handle, most prominently shown in bizen school swords. Modern reproductions rarely if ever have such a profile.
I don't understand paying more money for a modern sword ( sports blade ). When a gunto ( actual sword ) from ww2 can be re.mounted for less. At least you get the weight and effect of a actual weapon..just a thought.
Sometimes it can but not always. They are also less interesting to me personally. Some are solid some are less ideal but most of them are shorter than I would like.

Amazingly done Matt, I have to say that I think this might be my favorite of your custom projects.
A spectacular work of art and craftsmanship.
Beautiful! Totally jealous. Moonlight spirit seems befitting.
I've wanted to do a moon themed katana for a long time, never easy to find fittings for. This came together beautifully. Really nice piece!

That looks awesome. And I saw those fittings online. Glad someone like you got them as they are very unique and Alfredo’s work looks fantastic.
I was lucky to get it! Alfredo did a great job.

Ninja spirit on the turbo grafx. You are thinking of the third stage Matt. The third stage is definitely this sword.
Mare's Tail Moon or
Mystic Moon came to mind.

Are you happy with it Matthew? You weren't quite clear. LOL
I am Sailor Moon champion of Justice. In the name of the moon, I will punish you!
The name "Moon light knight" automatically makes me think Salior Moon 😂 Moon light spirit is good maybe...Moon light Samurai?
