Hey Robin. It is true that given the current economic climate, it would have been gratifying to see more action in the budget segment. However, this is not due to the judges' selection. Bear in mind that only cars launched during the 12 months prior to the announcement of the finalists. I believe the Celerio was launched in the period, but a number of the cars you mentioned like the Hyundai Atos and Jolion Hybrid were not. The upcoming Vitz should qualify for the 2024 competition.
