- Mortal Kombat Reconciliation Sprite Animation Part 19 | The Tournament. In this episode, Shang Tsung gives a little Mortal Kombat history lesson. The idea for this video is similar to Part 16 with Raiden's story about Shinnok, but I thought it would be cool to have a flashback from the evil side, so I came up with this video. Ultimately this video is just filler, because I want the final episode of the series to be Part 30, and I only have 27 videos written; I need some filler videos to stretch the series a bit.
My goal last year was to upload a video on December 25th, but I wasn't able to make the deadline, but this year everything worked out. The final fight scene was cut a bit short because I ran out of time; otherwise, this video was on schedule, and everything came together smoothly.

I used MK2 sprites during the MK1 timeline because the MK1 sprites are very low quality and very hard to work with, I also used MK2's intro theme during the MK1 tournament intro simply because it sounded better with the crowd noise.
TH-cam's updates to their copyright policies forced me to remove my ending/outro music theme, and Raiden's theme. Thankfully this only effects NEW videos; otherwise my channel would be doomed, and thank fuck Goro's theme song isn't copyrighted; otherwise this video would've been screwed.
30 chapters? Something tells me that there is a lot of meat on the fire, and that it will not end with the invasion of Zhao Kahn.
One thing is certain: with Motaro in action, episode 20 will be the last for Johnny Cage. 😆

I knew one of Shang Tsung's guards was Kung Lao because remember the intro of MK Shaolin Monks Kung Lao disguised himself a guard saving Liu Kang from Shang Tsung's power and chopping a tarkatan's head off with his hat.
It amazes me to no end on how much can be done with these graphics.

That MK1 throwback was perfect, man. I really do appreciate the love for both Goro and Shang Tsung. You portray them like real threats, not punching bags that they are in MK9, for example. Really liked this one!
Goro was always a punching bag unlike Kintaro. And in that video Goro has shown that Liu Kang's Flying Fart Kick is not effective against him :D

Literally a lot of this episode during the fight to some of the pictures in the wall, Kung Lao's entrance and with the fact it's MK2 music and sprites is all referencing Shaolin Monks. Nice work ^^
OH MY GOD! this was Supremly KOOL,and on multiple levels the story ,the writing and direction of the superb action scenes!the humour! and the call-back to shaolin monks (w/ kung lao's deception) just blew my mind . never seen anything like this in my life. you had me at Sprites! but as it when on i got wowed more & more .well done man for a brilliant job. im gonna watch these again and again even when i'm asleep! this ep. gave a new definition to "Fillers"!

Good work, I noticed the series make Kitana look a bit like a damsel in distress. Be good to see her hold her own in a fight and not always get owned. She however is a ten thousand year old assassin. I'm sure she can live up to it.
