An inspirational and marvellous 009 layout with a role reversal for the landscape in that it is largely above the rail tracks creating a very interesting point of view.
... except for the "final show" in Folkestone October 2023, when I was so pleased to be able to operate the layout once more and it looked and ran as well as ever :) It's gone full circle, to start and end with a Folkestone show appearance. Will we ever see it again in public? From what Dick was saying I very much doubt it now, simply due to ability (or not) to manage the loading and setting up etc.

This layout has inspired many narrow gauge modellers over the years and is one of the best ever made.
I have wonderful memories of helping Dick run this layout in the 70s, 80s, 90s. Wish I'd known it was out for one last time :) Nick.

Impressive amount of rolling stock, it looks amazing.
A truly marvellous and inspirational layout...
What a wonderful narrow gauge layout, being a TR member parts of it remind me of the Talyllyn.
Simply amazing!
Beautiful layout 🙂
Could watch this for hours...intricate and different from normal ovals...looks like many hours of work
Love it
A lovely layout, although I'm sure the grass was greener in the Two Ronnies sketch?
Wow ❤
