Thank you! The recording method was via LINE using Apple's DAW "Logic Pro X'"(no effects or other corrections were applied) and the audio interface "Apollo Twin"☺
@@JayTheLane To be honest, I think the volume and sound quality of the FP-30X's speakers are lacking in low and high frequencies. The solution is to connect the FP-30X's LINEOUT to a powered monitor speaker such as the YAMAHA HS5, which I think will greatly improve the sound quality. ✨

Thanks again for these 56 very inspiring tests. I have a question: in the Rolland application, in the tones selection, at the bottom of the list, there is GM with three types: piano 1, piano 2 and piano 3 with variants, D and W, probably for Detuned and Wide. Do you know what this means?
Thank you for your comment ☺👍✨ The "W" in Roland's tone names seems to mean Width. For example, the low notes of Piano W come from the left, and the high notes come from the right. The "D" can be interpreted as Depth, Dark, or Detune, but it might be Dark because it's a bit dark.

I'm starting to learn the piano and bought the FP-30x and found your video. I hope to be able to play like you (not so well of course 🙄 ). For your video, it's not just all the sounds that can be used with this piano, it's also and even more importantly many styles of music. That's why I wanted to thank you. Personally I like the tone “magical piano”, but I am not yet a pianist.
Very nice tone patches. What is called bread and butter, or essential patches. Most sound so natural and realistic. Aside from my CT-S1, my Roland Go:Keys has the Juno workstation soundest, pretty much most of those sounds, including the trademark Roland Take 6 type jazz scat patch, plus General MIDI. Great playing, and soothing jazz piano lounge music.
I ordered this Roland yesterday - I had no idea about the other sounds. Thanks very much for the demo! The Epic String section reminded me of Casino Royale meets La La Land or something - very good! May I ask the best way to create an MP3 or best way to connect to the computer - you look like you know what you're doing and I have no clue. Best wishes from Ireland!

Thank you ! I feel that my preference is the FP-30X in terms of both key action and piano sound. The key action of FP-30X is a little heavy, but the structure is solid. When it comes to piano sounds, the Mellow Upright and Phaser EP types are exactly the same as mine🎹✨

I believe the FP-30X has the following Rhodes and DX7 electric piano sounds: 07:32 1976SuitCase [Rhodes] 08:37 Phase EP Mix [Rhodes] 09:16 80's FM EP [DX7] Due to trademark reasons, it would be difficult for other manufacturers to use the Rhodes and DX7 names without negotiation♪

I did a test on my FP30x: I connected my phone to the FP30x via bluetooth, connected a pair of headphones into the FP30x, and I played back your videos on my phone, the sound I heard from the headphones was muddy and not clear. Then I turned the FP30x off, connected the headphones to my phone, played back your video, the sound was clear beautiful. How come?😂 does the FP30x have terrible headphone DAC?😂
When playing the FP-30X's mellow upright tone, the key may be to not play the keys too strongly. Next, try connecting some speakers you have to LINEOUT. The sound field feeling may be improved ☺✨

Wonderful voices all 56. And HS5? To use ONLY AT MINIMUM volume ( 1/2) because Is powerful! To taste fully all the frequency higher, middle and lower of grand pianos samples, but not only...🔊🔊🔊🔊😉😉😉. Have you tried to use with Pipe organ tutti??

@@pf_masa Besides I've found that Fp30x, when the instrument is off, touching keys is silence in a bettering way than previous Fp30 or 10 or other similar digital pianos( P225, Kawai es120etc..) and the escapement gives more realistic real acoustic grand piano impression!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍😉😉

Besides it's wonderful to hear the higher and lower frequencies when I put at 1 level of volume, already!! Amazing and full lower notes and crystal and clean higher notes. For playing string sounds, how do I use the sustain pedal properly? My string sounds don't sound so nice like yours, and I think it's because I don't use the sustain pedal properly with them.
When playing string sounds, it is important to ensure that the notes do not overlap with previously played phrases. Therefore, when using a sustain pedal, I think it is important to turn off the pedal and press it again just before going to the next phrase. Furthermore, as a general rule, I think it's important to keep the sustain pedal to a minimum when playing string sounds.☺

動画で演奏されているときの音と、実際に自分がピアノを弾いたときに聞こえる音が違うように感じます。
動画の音の方が、少しクリアで透き通っているように聞こえます。
私は主にヘッドホンやピアノ内蔵のスピーカーを使っていますが、別のサウンドシステムをピアノに接続しているのか気になります。
よろしくお願いします。
この動画の音はLINEOUTから録音しています。できるだけ忠実に原音の音を録音したいと思い、録音した音はリミッターしかかけていません。
FP-30Xの内蔵スピーカーの音から聞こえる音は、少し中域が盛り上がった（低域と高域が少しカットされた）音に聴こえると私は感じています♪
追伸です♪FP-30XにYAMAHAのモニタースピーカーのHS5を接続したら、とても良い音になった♪というコメントがありました🎹✨ お手持ちのスピーカーでも良いので、LINEOUTの出力をつなげると、この動画の音に近くなると思います☺👍✨

Thank you ! I feel that my preference is the FP-30X in terms of both key action and piano sound. The key action of FP-30X is a little heavy, but the structure is solid. When it comes to piano sounds, the Mellow Upright and Phaser EP types are exactly the same as mine🎹✨

現在、ピアノの初心者レッスンを受けていて、まさに我が家のピアノはFP-30Xです。どうしても本当のピアノとの差があり、試行錯誤してます。先生からはKeyTouchをプラスにした方が良いのでは？と言われて+2にしています。音色はピアノ標準を使っています。今は、ブルグミュラーを練習しています。おすすめのピアノ音色がわかりましたら、ご指導お願いします。
ありがとうございます☺レッスンのときにアコースティックピアノをつかっていらっしゃいますか？ 話せば長くなりますが、ひとことで言うと、電子ピアノとアコースティックピアノにはどうしても差がありますので、それを努力で克服することは難しいと思っています。キータッチを重く設定すると、指を”壊す”恐れもあります。
私が同じような状況のときにいろいろ対策して良かったと思っていることは、ときどきレンタルでアコースティックピアノを借りることです。お金と手間はかかりますが、それが一番現実的で効果的な方法と今でも思ってます。
オススメ（気に入っている）FP-30XはMellow Upright 、Concert Pianoです🎹✨

ヤマハ／カワイ／スタンウェイ等々でもキーの重さやタッチが全く違いますし...
デジピのタッチレスポンスや音色で差を埋めるしかないと思いますが
個人差や好みもあるので試行錯誤で決めれば良いかと思います。
Tommyさん、ありがとうございます☺おっしゃるとおりで、自宅のピアノとレッスン・現場でのピアノが違うと違和感があり、慣れるのに時間がかかります。それは電子ピアノとアコースティックグランドピアノでは違和感の状況を脱するのは難しいと思います。
wombatさん、日頃、FP-30X等の電子ピアノで練習する際には、Tommyさんがおっしゃるようにタッチや音色で調整し、自分で一番違和感がない部分を探すことがベストと思います。私は、電子ピアノを弾く場合は、タッチレスポンス、音色のブリリアントでバランスをとりながら、自分の好みのタッチカーブになるポイントを探すことが多いです。FP-30Xは、私としてはデフォルト設定が好みです。FP-30Xは鍵盤ウェイトを自分で測ったら60g超あり、電子ピアノの中では重たいタッチの方に入ると感じていますので、これ以上タッチカーブを重くすることは、やはり指を痛めるかもしれないと思っています。
ピアノの先生とはオンラインレッスンなので、この電子ピアノです。先生はアコースティックピアノです。
先生からも、機会を設けてアコースティックピアノも弾いてみてくださいと言われてます。
田舎なのであんまり有りませんが駅ピアノとかへ行き弾いてみたりします。
女房の実家にアップライトピアノが有るのでそこでも弾く練習をしています。

I did a test on my FP30x: I connected my phone to the FP30x via bluetooth, connected a pair of headphones into the FP30x, and I played back your videos on my phone, the sound I heard from the headphones was muddy and not clear. Then I turned the FP30x off, connected the headphones to my phone, played back your video, the sound was clear beautiful. How come?😂 does the FP30x have terrible headphone DAC?😂
When playing the FP-30X's mellow upright tone, the key may be to not play the keys too strongly. Next, try connecting some speakers you have to LINEOUT. The sound field feeling may be improved ☺✨

Hallo Kono, I would like to express my opinion about Yamaha HS5. The astonishing Fp30x voices, particularly acoustic piano voices are FANTASTIC!!!!! Expecially Concert grand and fabolous Upright mellow. Besides, try to use Pipe organ voices with monitors!!!! What a huge reverb!!!!🔊🔊🔊🔊

Already when I listened to the videos dedicated to fp30x( among which yours) I was convinced about the great quality of this piano, but playing live is another thing at all!!! Wonderful voices all 56. And HS5? To use ONLY AT MINIMUM volume ( 1/2) because Is powerful! To taste fully all the frequency higher, middle and lower of grand pianos samples, but not only...🔊🔊🔊🔊😉😉😉. Have you tried to use with Pipe organ tutti??

Consider that I've decided to buy HS5 'cause when I've listened to Genos2 happening at its launch the keyboard was connected to a pair of "old" Yamaha MP5 and these monitors sounded greatly, already. @@pf_masa Besides I've found that Fp30x, when the instrument is off, touching keys is silence in a bettering way than previous Fp30 or 10 or other similar digital pianos( P225, Kawai es120etc..) and the escapement gives more realistic real acoustic grand piano impression!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍😉😉

Besides it's wonderful to hear the higher and lower frequencies when I put at 1 level of volume, already!! Amazing and full lower notes and crystal and clean higher notes. For playing string sounds, how do I use the sustain pedal properly? My string sounds don't sound so nice like yours, and I think it's because I don't use the sustain pedal properly with them.
When playing string sounds, it is important to ensure that the notes do not overlap with previously played phrases. Therefore, when using a sustain pedal, I think it is important to turn off the pedal and press it again just before going to the next phrase. Furthermore, as a general rule, I think it's important to keep the sustain pedal to a minimum when playing string sounds.☺
