Don't mess with the eye's, they lose that roundness, which is a youthful, attractive quality. I see it all the time, the eye's look pinched. I'm 50 and haven't had anything done but wouldn't say no to fillers/botox but want to keep the natural shape of my eyes :) Although she's had a lot of cosmetic procedures, she still has great bone structure, which is what got her the modelling gigs in the first place.

I'm 56 and have had botox and fillers. I use sunscreen religiously and have since I was in my early twenties. But I'll still never look like a supermodel. Christie Brinkley has the bone structure and good genes to begin with and if she wants to have plastic surgery and not tell people that's her business. I've had no one come up to me and say "you look different, have you had anything done?" so it can be subtle and a good doctor won't overdo you if he is ethical. Someone like Christie who is known for her looks is always going to be scrutinized whether they have had plastic surgery or not. I'm just thankful that I've never been known for my looks so no one really cares. I just do what I do so I can feel good about myself and I see nothing wrong with it.

Nature is cruel to us after 60 and before that for many, our faces start to show deeper lines etc however good on her regardless of work done she looks simply amazing!!

She looks awsome, but it's not just from collagen and elastin building supplements and creams. She has obviously had much more done. The body however I think she has put in quite a bit of effort. I've always loved Christie ever since National Lampoon's Vacation (God Bless Harold) and Vegas Vacation! I've always found her young and not her age, in my mind, since she looks like she's 20 years younger, to me. I even have an Aunt who's a month old than her and she is the same, like Brinkley, herself. God bless them both! Oh, and Happy 35th Anniversary, NLV!

First of all, regardless of what she has done to keep her beauty, she was just blessed to be born beautiful and with an amazing body. Blonde, blue eyes, perfect features, teeth...all of it. I always said... God must have been in a really good mood the day he created Christie Brinkley. Some women are just blessed from birth and if they take care of themselves, it should continue, but to stave off actual aging, it takes a village of specialists and constant upkeep. She is in the public eye and has the money, so I can understand it if she has this or that done. Most of us are average looking and it wouldn't matter what cream you used or how many injections you get. If you don't have the basic physical beauty to begin with, nothing but complete plastic surgery is going to change what God gave you. Just be grateful if you are healthy and do the best with what you were given. Be a beautiful person inside and you will always be perceived as beautiful on the outside. She's a stunning woman, no doubt about it and she seems like a truly lovely woman inside. She's been truly blessed.

Basically I feel it is a personal choice as to how a person wants to live their life. They say the body is a temple if one chooses to consume alcohol to excess smoke cigarettes and eat fattening food and not exercise . The end result is your appearance will reflect those choices.However if you decide to take the best possible care of yourself even if it means to have cosmetic work done. You still decided to make yourself be the best version of yourself. But the fact remains even if you do all these things you have to be fortunate enough to be attractive to begin with.

Agreed. I understand the pressure on women in some industries not to age. I also understand how hard it is to lose youthful beauty as I am her age. But I value the work of getting over that vanity and evolving. I have forgiven Helen Mirren for lifting her lower face because she has to see her face from all angles projected 3 stories tall. Ok, I probably couldn't withstand that kind of scrutiny either but she told the truth about it and never claimed it was down to something she was selling.
Don't assume she got surgery because she didn't- just injectables.
Botox, she admitted to it in a TV interview a while back, said she tried it but eventually stopped. She's Never had surgery. She does live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle with lots of exercise, water and rest.
Why do you have to say that she is fit for age? It is really hard for some people to give someone a real compliment. I think she is fit for any age.
Michelle, because it is a fact that it is so much harder to stay physically fit as we age. We need to consume less calories as we age (so thats hard!) menopause, if skinny or not will add fat to a woman's stomach/waist, making it look thicker. It is so much harder to look like you did in your 20's and 30's than when you are in your 60's. so yes I am very impressed! I'm sure she probably gets her waist/stomach lipo'd but still good for her. I can tell you are young. You dont know yet.
I always wondered how she felt about dating John Mellencamp knowing that Billy Joel and John Mellencamp were / are good friends I'm sure that would have been very awkward. I always wondered about Barbara Bush's prematurely gray hair then heard after her passing it turned gray when her toddler daughter had leukemia, who eventually died from the disease. I had known that part and how horrible to lose a child, watching her suffer only to lose her. No wonder her hair turned gray in that and she was still what we would consider today a young woman. However, it was said that as she soon became known as everyone's grandmother, she embraced the gray hair and that new image it brought her. I thought in that moment, how could anyone not love her? She was a stalwart, at the same time unflappable, presenting herself in her signature humor and quick wit. She embodied the best of what every woman hopes to be as a wife and mother to her family. It was evident she was her husband's and children's rock. She had the strength to allow them the freedom and support to achieve the greatness each accomplished.
I read that she said divorcing Billy Joel was one on the worst mistakes she ever made. I believe it, and I believe they still love each other, no matter what.

The subject of the interview is a woman born into a rich family growing up on the beaches of Malibu in a mansion. She won the genetic lottery and that is the only basis of her fame. She has no concept of what adversity or hardship is at least not in her own life experience. She has a lifetime of instant acceptance by men and women because of her looks. She has never had to prove herself on live TV into far as being entertaining or being good at telling stories that are interesting the way say a standup comedian must be able to. So therefore we really cannot expect anything more than this.
She was so much prettier before all the work was done. Wrinkles are not a bad thing. There must be some reason every inch of her from the chin down is covered. What's up with that? Weird. I'd rather she just be who she is rather than trying to covering every in and trying to look 40 years younger.
