- You join me here on a trip from Jiva Beach Resort Hotel, to the Calis (Çaliş) bridge water taxi, to Fethiye market where we find lots of fake designer goods plus lots lots more! We jump on a lovely boat over the water to Fethiye. You could use a taxi all the way, but the water taxis are a great cheap way to travel when in Turkey!

Looks great brilliant vid, boat trip taxi looks relaxing and the views also look amazing, I will be checking the market out next time I'm in Turkey just got back from oludeniz fantastic place and holiday. Will be going to fethiye next time, we visit turkey a few times a year traveling to different locations along the south coast resorts.
Wouldn't go anywhere else Turkey very beautiful country and the Turkish people very polite happy and pleasant people.

If you want to see the best views in the world try oludeniz there's a cable car to the top of the mountain where all the paragliders jump off, it's the paragliding capital of the world. There's restaurants up there to very cheap day out too. Check out vids on (Jumping Places) TH-cam channel they went up the mountain and recorded full vid of there experience and also when they decended via a paraglider guide.

Do you know when the market is ? We are in fethiye now for holiday
Aa far as I know Fethiye market is Tuesday. Calis market on Sunday. Lot smaller. We didn't see that. Clothes at Fethiye are pretty good. My polos have washed up well. Kids clothes very good. Or head on the water taxi to Calis. Jump off the boat, walk down the Rd and see Turkish John for clothes. Handbag shop opp few shops down. Mention me. Enjoy.
If I remember , the Fethiye market is on Tuesday. Going back to Olu Deniz in September… can’t wait.

Hi John an update on that watch I got off him at jiva beach it stopped working in five hours after I got it the watches are not very good quality and I paid £200
Oh dear. Did he swap it? Mines 2 years old and still going strong. And my other half's and a mates too!
I had a good look around his shop and I just got my money back mate

My first time In Alanya years ago with a new LFC home top, just came out that week...he was not having It was fake.."FAKE FAKE", think he had been living in fakeland that much he had convinced himself...😂😂👍👍

So is it better to have English money when shopping, I contacted a hotel and they said they prefer me to pay for accommodation in £ cash. Guess the reason is because there currency is falling in value!
Absolutely. They take lira, pound notes or euros. Plus cards. They look happy when you pay in English pounds. Think we only took 50 lira with us. Just in case. Even the mini bus driver took English pounds! Easy exchange rate is 1 pound to 20 lira. Have a great time. I'm doing a short video on this very subject soon. Thx for watching.

be careful with the watches . anything under £100 is crap . guaranteed to your hotel lol. i have a collection of amazing watches , some 15 years old . dont touch rolex . go to proper jewelers to get a good deal . just got back from icmeler , the shirts this year are great quality . mercedes f1 are superb . 2 for £25 .
Did buy a couple of rolex, all over 100 pounds. Bought from a shop. One in market were a little er, crap! Ours are still going good and look pretty good too! Cheers. I'll look out for the shirts on my next visit. Thank you.
@@LifeofJohnG the reason i dont touch rolex is , if someone looks at it they automatically think it is fake . unless you are loaded lol. i have a rada ceramic and saphire crystal . absolutely superb watch . 15 years old and never let me down .
@@LifeofJohnG in icmeler the local mayor stopped the market a few years back . too much crap and too much hassle . plus it was putting the local businesses out of trade . same with the canal stalls , but they are now coming back later this year . all brand new .
