As an older Irish gay man living in Manchester 24 years, who was a teenager in the 80’s, and after living in Dublin for 3 years, I often wonder that with the growth of online gay dating apps like Grindr and many others, along with the effects of Covid, are we seeing the beginning of the end for all gay venues, including bars, clubs and saunas? The Canal St gay village has remained in existence despite the odds being hugely stacked against it, yet in the post-Covid era, I honestly don’t know how long it can continue to survive in its current form - already, one gay sauna has closed down and many Dublin gay venues are struggling to remain in existence - I miss the free spirited nature of the 80’s and 90’s that gradually started to wane by 2010 and when Covid hit in 2020, it utterly changed everything, where so many things moved both online and into both straight venues and outside of city centres, where it’s mainly straights that go to gay venues for stag and hen parties now
Thanks for adding that Michael. I still thought there was a good atmosphere along Canal street, and it was much busier than other areas in Manchester that night.
Looks amazing!
I loved the guy in the leather jacket that looked like Adam Ant during my teens in the 80’s - takes me right back to the 80’s ❤❤❤❤

Where’s the guys?😳🏳️🌈
Even I’m struggling to find any hot gay hunks, as I’m always on hunk-watch - maybe they are at home on their apps or in straight bars
Normal life, NATALYA!!!!!!!!!
