Once again Erik, you are interviewing all the right people that we your viewers want to see for content. Cortina channels Rule! Keep up the great work, bro!
I remember Hakan’s first threads on the Hide. I have been running his mounts 100% on all my rigs for 11yr. The mounts are unique and quickly set the bar for the best mount for your top quality optics. Simply the best!!
Thanks for your videos Eric. Yesterday a tornado went thru Pasadena, Texas and it looks like a war zone. Your videos provide a time to relax and forget if only for a short time. Thanks.
Always pick up a tidbit or two of new knowledge in these interviews. Sometimes a lightbulb goes on. The lubed mounts goes against everything I would have thought or thought I knew but....a lightbulb indeed. It makes perfect sense! Eliminates or greatly reduces friction and sticking, therefore mitigating misalignment issues. Wow. Thank you for your time Mr. Spuhr, as well as your contributions to the shooting world. We appreciate both of you guys for that.
This guy would be great to ask questions about your new designs shame you can't hire him part time as a advisor lol these interviews aren't always liked by everyone but I like it couldn't imagine what he could teach you on a machine or in design
I pillar-bedded my Quad after I noticed that just 1/8th turn in the action screw halved my groups. I realized that is a causation from an underlying problem, the rifle was too sensitive. I also did not want to use ammo to tune the action screws after cleaning it etc. This was with GRS Sporter T3 / Quad stock

Great podcast both of you!! I think imperial sizing die wax would be good for lubing mounts or picatinney rail

Did I understand that correctly, I'm to lube my scope mounts when installing them to a picatinny rail?
Correct.
