On this day we were checking out of the Dusit Beach Resort, so for any beachside venue we did what anyone would do-start the day off with a walk in the sand. We then had breakfast at the Palm Cafe buffet again and then packed up our things to check out.
After leaving the hotel, we made our way to the Asan Beach Park to grab some shots for my dance video project. It was really nice to meet up with my former coworker Sheila and her husband Grant. I had asked their sweet daughter Sophia if she’d like to be part of my dance video, and I was so happy to work with her. I always love being able to showcase the young talent on Guam!
After dropping my stuff and Mila off at my mom’s house, I then headed down to the Agat Marina where we would be taking off for the boat cruise. I was ecstatic to get in the water and snorkel because this was one of my favorite things to do when I was on Guam, and we used to go almost every weekend. I always love how Guam waters are so vibrant blue from a bird’s eye view, but then when you get in you can see so clearly to the ocean floor. Even just basking in the warm waters was so satisfying! And like all other early evenings on a tropical island, what better way to end the day than with a gorgeous sunset on the ocean’s edge.
