20:35 i just took delivery of a bottle of armaf sillage yesterday. my bottle seems to be produced in france. i've spraid it on a couple of times, but i wonder if that bottle is weak or if i'm just going nose blind.

Nice video. Grace has good taste. Red Tobacco and ToB are among my favorites as well. Big fan of Tobacco fragrances in general. I actually like MB Legend Night, also. I find it performs OK on my skin, too.

I’m enjoying your videos with Grace! As for Silver Mountain Water, I’m shocked that it doesn’t last long for many. I have a 2019 bottle and with 2 sprays on my neck, I can detect it for at least 10+ hours. It’s pretty strong on my skin.

I've got a 2014 SMW, but my good friend has a 2019 SMW and it's so much lighter its like a shell of my 2014 bottle, it's crazy.
That was really interesting, you have to wonder if armaf moved the price point higher how good there clones could be.
I think Roja dove is really the only one still producing quality before cost, everyone else is compromising the product for the price.

Great video, everytime Grace makes an appearance it just seems like you have great chemistry together. I really tried to like red tobacco because it's like at least half the price of ToB. However on my skin it's just really smoky heavy and it doesn't really go away. It was kind of the same reason I didn't enjoy Jazz Club by MM. I wanted to like these, but I guess I'm really just not into smoke. Have a nice day.

Totally dig the vibe of these videos. Just passing by looking to hear about Club de Nuit Milestone Armaf because it was recommended to me-stayed for the whole thing.
I'm interested in a barbershop fragrance but I can't really afford Tom Ford. Is Zino pretty much the same as Beau De Jour? Or does it not fill the bracket of an Aromatic Fougère?
(Both fragrances are not available for testing nor sampling from where I live)
IMO, Beau de Jour is superior to Zino. But they are definitely similar and Zino is still good 👍🏾

It would've been my first full bottle purchase of Creed frag or niche frag if it wasn't for the atrocious performance. Such a shame, great scent but I barely detect it after an hour. I went for Aventus Cologne instead.

I agree with pretty much everything that you said in this video and Grace picked the expected ones in most cases, Red Tobacco surprised me though. Not big fan of the scent itself but it's probably the most powerful in my entire collection (the sample). You can barely wash it off at the end of the day.

Let me share some thoughts and questions about the clones (the Armaf ones):
(disclaimer, I haven't smelled the "original" yet - Silver Mountain Water - but I will go to a store here in NYC to try to find and smell sometime soon)
Sillage: At first I was excited about how strong it smelled. The same day I got it, I used it to go to the city teach my weekly Brazilian partner dance class, and I could feel the smell of it in the air walking in NYC - something that also got me excited about. During class, dancing with various partners, no comment/compliment. So at end of class I told some of my students/friends that I was trying this new fragrance. They came closer to smell and said it was good, but I'm not sure if it was genuine, or just a polite compliment because I asked.
Then I also ordered Milestone to check it out because of all the hype.
Now, that I few days passed I kind of regret buying these fragrances and I don't know if it is a synthetic/harsh version of Creed, or if the originals also are like this.
I'm probably not going to be using these.
These fragrances seem to be way too strong when I spray, to a point that it is not pleasant to bring my nose near the skin to smell it up close.
Then, after not so long, I go partially nose blind (specially to Milestone). And it also affects my sense of smell for other fragrances (when I put different fragrances on different spots to compare, for example). It is very weird.
Is this just me?
(Side note: I also got Tres Nuit from the same clone brand to try, and this one seems to be much better and less harsh. I actually got a number of compliments with this one)
The reasoning behind the reactions or lack thereof to those fragrances could be due to any number of reasons. I do believe you often get what you pay for in terms of the quality with clones. It goes without saying that Creed's quality is simply superior. While the clones will often last longer, the scent of the originals is undeniably higher quality. This may not result in more compliments (again, lots of factors affect compliments, and its not just your fragrance), but what matters the absolute most is that you love the fragrance you wearing.

Ultimately, I wear fragrances based on what I love and make me feel good, as you said. But since I teach partner dance and I'm often dancing in close embrace with different people, it is important that the fragrance is not harsh and/or super controversial. It is ideal if it is fresh/clean and inviting.
I'm curious if you also feel this about the Club d Nuit: overwhelming/harsh opening (15-30 min), un-inviting strong mid (30 min - 1:30 hours) and a weak dry down. Or this is just me?

In regards to Club de Nuit, it’s not just you. Again, while it may dry into something more pleasant, the quality is simply not there compared to Aventus. It speaks for itself.

Nice choice between fragrances, you are lucky to have a 2016 batch of Milessime Imperial I'm very curious what would be its scent many people state that Milestone could be even better in terms of quality and performance compared to the newer batches (2020,2021) MI. Thank you. Milestone doesn't really compare to the older batches of MI in my opinion, especially as it dries down. At first spray, its a heavy contender, but as it sits, it loses its quality. But that's just me!

How about same category next time using "SPS= Sequential Pair Sniffing" technique. For e.g. Vetiver perfumes do a head-to-head amongst 8 vetiver dominant perfumes (start with 8 with her choosing one of each pair, she chooses 4 then 2 then winner is declared!!!!
