- If you are doing yoga that is rooted in theology of another religion then it is better to avoid it. But if you are doing yoga as a form of exercise like Pilates, without being attached to the indepth concepts of the practice of yoga then it is allowed for you.

I am a muslim and i do yoga everyday and i also say my 5 times prayer..I got some pain issue on my shoulder,neck,hand.. After practicing yoga i got removed from that pain(Alhamdulillah)...still doing..but some chant,and posture which are haram i avoide that afterall i am a muslim and i can't do shirk...i take it as exercise and believe one thing if Allah never wants,i Won't never recover...now u do yoga or something else..
I believe the five daily SALAH is a better then yoga if you perform them in their due time.
Watch the video, and respond with knowledge. The salah is not a form of exercise, it's worship. So why would it replace any form of exercise? You do your salah, and you do exercise. Separate things. You personally don't want to do yoga or any other activity? That's fine. But don't make an uninformed statement on behalf of others, on a video that actually gives you a balanced and reasonable response. May Allah guide me and you. Wa Allahu a'lam.

Salah is not exercise, it's deeply religious and spiritual practice.
Exercise is totally different, it helps to develop our body and makes a person strong

Brother, all positions of exercise are some form of Yoga.
The Yoga instructors want people to become interested in Hinduism , when someone refuses the instructor still tries to indoctrinate the student . This has happened to people I know, they left Yoga .

I think 'chance' in the subtitling is a wrong word. It should be 'chants'.
So yoga is haraam in malaysia and in the muslim countries. The word yoga means union, and that union is with God. Astaghfirullah. It is a polytheistic practice. Why do you need to do it? Just stay away. Its better to err on the side of caution. The mere fact that you leave something for fear of angering Allaah Almighty, Allaah has promised to replace it with something better.
