Was inspired bc this song is cycling a bit on insta with some lovely art (don't know who started it, but I would recommend checking some of those out)

based off the campaign im dming right now
the two main characters in order of appearance:
Ysidro: A witch with a contract to an ancient unknown god
Zephyranthes (Zeph): A rogue who was brought back to life by Ysidro (their race can shapeshift into little dragon-like creatures)
In the campaign currently, Ysidro and Zeph have recently had a falling out following Ysidro telling Zeph that they'd brought them back once already from being dead. Zeph has recently abandoned the party to return to their mother figure, but some sort of connection seems to be keeping the two tethered, with Ysidro getting a glimpse into Zeph's memories and dreams.
The god Ysidro is connected with has a connection with bugs, so there's a lot of bug related imagery involved as well.
The other characters (in order of appearance):
Meyst Automeris - Zeph's mom
Alma Pinion - Fighter from the party
Sen - Party member (Rio Grande is a previous video featuring them)
Antiope - Ysidro's ex girlfriend
Onyx - ???

i have absolutely no idea whats going on in this dnd animatic but the shift of the characters into bugs is really interesting! also the art style is really fucking cool!

Oooh! I'd love to know the context behind all this, like, what's going on in that campaign. But regardless of context, this artsyle is real cute and I'm loving the insect art! Loved the lilcircle part as well, as it kept building inwards. Lovely work overall

I made the entire thing in storyboard pro (which is not really how its intended to be used but I love to use it for stuff like this)
I sometimes use Sony Vegas to do similar stuff it just takes longer and what I bought almost ten years ago is pretty outdated now. Don't know any free programs that might be good but assuming for professional stuff people use after effects more (I only passively use that, but it is a much better program than sony vegas, at a higher price. I get to use it through my university mostly)
