SO MUCH DIFFERENT OPINIONS ARE THERE IN MAKING VERMICOMPOST BUT THIS METHOD (PROCESS)IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS. IT ISN'T FAVORABLE. THANKS SO MUCH.
Sir, perfectly guiding vidio on the wormicompost. Thanks. Sir, if rice straw is not available in our area, can we use sugarcane straw or wheat straw . Please guide.
Glad that I found your channel.😊 Recently I bought 12X4X2 ft. 450gsm Vermibed from Mipatex. But was not familiar with the making process, so this video really enlightened my knowledge. What is the duration it takes to make a complete Verrmicompost? Thanks.. You're Subscribed.. 👍
Sir thanks alot for making this informative video but can you please tell us that how much ingredients needed to make a bed full of vermicompost. Like how much cow dunk or vermi needed on a single bed??
I used to add banana trees. Cut it into small pieces and then keep it under sunlight for 5-7 days so that any insects or worms in the trees dies from sun heat..After that you can add it
Sir really an informative video. Can you tell me the requirements of all basic materials require accordingly for 8*4*2 ft bed I will be glad if you reply Sir.
They will multiply rapidly, you need to have multiple beds to transfer them, else they will die. Sprinkling water is required when the moisture level goes down...weekly twice in summer and once in other seasons...depending upon the moisture level
Thanks for sharing the very informative video. I have a few questions. 1. May I know how much quantity (in kg) of cow dung and neem leaves and rice straw goes into one vermi bed? 2. You said that you had put 3-5kg of worms in the bed. And it takes 70 days for the vermi compost to be ready. Does it mean that if we double the worms in the bed, the vermi compost will be ready in half the time? 3. How much vermi compost can one harvest from this one vermi bed? 4. In this 70 days period that you showed in the video, what happens to the population of the worms? Looking forward to your video on how to harvest the worms and their eggs. Thanks once again. Great job in sharing your knowledge. Double thumbs up !!!
Thanks for asking such practical questions. Q1. As such I have not measured it. More the neem leaves, its better for the compost. Rice straws are required to create aeration, so it depends upon you, don't put much. But commercial farms don't use it. Q2. More the worms, the faster the results Q3. 2 Ton Capacity Vermi Bed can give you around 1.5 ton. Q4. You should have a number of bed to transfer the worms, else they will die? You can sell them if you want. I hope I answered your queries.
If worms are there it should work... these are the Red Wigler Worms, they act fast compared to Indian local breeds.... Indian local breads are meant to make the soil porous that helps in aeration in the plant root system and plants grow well.

Hello, if I want to incorporate kitchen waste where should I place it for best results? n will it add to its (vermi compost) nutrient value?
You can feed to Black Soldier Fly
@@RoadtoOrganic and you can also feed them to white officer flies.
Nice 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much
THANK YOU SIR
sir pls let me know that how many minimum earthworms should b placed in a bed to prepare a good vermicompost
The more you use the earthworms, it will do the job faster. The bed of this size requires 3-5 killos.

Nice but my question is how to get kechva for first time
You can get it from local agriculture university or nursery
Thanks for sharing very nice video bro....
What's the maret price for 1 quintal vermi compost ?
Excellent video. You must be a teacher or lecturer. What happens to the earth worms? How often you sprinkle water?
They will multiply rapidly, you need to have multiple beds to transfer them, else they will die. Sprinkling water is required when the moisture level goes down...weekly twice in summer and once in other seasons...depending upon the moisture level
Good
in paddy fields, insecticide is applied which wd mean evn in rice straws, traces of insecticide may b there..won't this b harmful for worms?
Of course, it will be harmful to worms... they wont sustain, they will die... it will be if you dont use any chemical fertilizers
