Busy Koala Care Centre rescues orphaned joeys

- This has been one of our busiest year for joeys at our Koala Care Centre. They are just the cutest little furballs and we are so glad that we can rescue, rehabilitate and release so many each year.
For over 37 years we have focused on critical, on-the-ground, koala conservation efforts like habitat restoration, education, advocacy, rescue, treatment of sick, injured, and orphaned koalas in our Koala Hospital and research into disease prevention.
In this short video from Brad our volunteer photographer, we say hi to new joeys - Hip Hop, Baby Bear and Johnny, whilst the older joeys head off to plantation.
This is an older video and many of the youngest ones are also off in the wild now too!

The new ones are so cute. But it's sad they have to be there instead of with their mums. Good luck to the older ones. So many boys. I hope they have a long, healthy, happy and safe life ahead. 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨
Always really appreciate all of the work that everyone does at Friends of the Koala. It's really meaningful to see how much dedication is put into their well-being and their quality of life
Wish I could volunteer sometime, it's a pity to live on the other side of the planet

A few weeks ago hundreds of koalas were killed or injured when men cut down the trees they were living in. They were slaughtered.please help save the koalas.
Love them all. ❤ Every koala deserves the best life they can live but it’s hard for them. Being an orphan is the hardest of all. RIP Pikachu 💔🌈🌳😢
